When I was a kid I was really scared of the movie where Elmo turns green because I (probably) had a dream where there was a commercial for it where it started with a kid shouting "Elmo's green!" and then there were a bunch of kids and muppets crying and a muppet monster ate the word "GREEN" with the sound effects of kids crying and weird singing also from kids. I don't know if this was just a dream or an actual commerical I misinterpreted really badly as a kid

Currently making a memes roster and it's kinda funny how there can technically be "joke picks" by some Smash fans's definition.

Had a dream there was a big party at my college or some place I used to go to and when it was done I was really distressed because I lost my parents's phone numbers and didn't have any way to get home. I asked the party organizer guy and he just seemed annoyed said I could get a car but I told him I didn't know how to drive, he just said it wasn't that hard and I could drive without a license. There was a bit where I was trying to find a payphone and I found one in a fake castle but it was made out of snow. While I was walking around the party organizer guy came up to me with a solution involving hiding a robot in my hair. This solution somehow lead me to be in New York (but not New York City) and I was in a small blue garbage bucket that I could use to get around faster (oddly it didn't have wheels) and at one point a police officier stopped me and said I was going too fast.

There was also a subplot about Homer and Marge's wedding in the Simpsons where Marge meets the second Marge Homer keeps around, who was going to go get plastic surgery, and they fuse into some horrifying being that a bunch of firefighters encounter in a 90's American Nintendo commercial but it's from the monsters POV so you don't get to see what it looks like.

Then I was in a place that looked like the area around where I lived and I was in a car on a roof, after some nervous driving I decided to park. Then I woke up in-dream and asked my brother if he had seen the small blue garbage bucket and if he was particularly attached to it

I really don't get the sentiment of "people should pay attention to the alternatives in this near-monopolized genre because then the main developers of the main game in the genre might get scared and make better games." Why not just play the alternatives if they're better games?
