I'm sorry to bring up Ch*p & D*le 2*22 again, but I just realised who the perfect villain for this movie would've been.. Inspector Clouseau

Think about it, he was upstaged by his own opening credits, and would never be able to break into animation himself because of a certain other inspector doing his schtick first! That's two reasons for him to hate the animation industry right there! Not to mention that Chip N' Dale's show was itself detective themed so he has reason to hold a grudge against them as well.

The Robot Chicken Rocko skit is so funny to me because it's really not much worse than anything they did in Season 1 - like if you shortened Rocko getting run over to 5 seconds and didn't imply the death was permanent it wouldn't be out of place. In general I feel Robot Chicken really struggles to adapt to newer generations where their nostalgia was already edgy and gruesome.

Honestly, I think there's only two spin-off series (well, spun-off in one case) I think should be counted as seperate if they get reps in Smash: Shin Megami Tensei and Tingle. I also wouldn't mind Luigi's Mansion being seperated since it has a pretty distinct identity from Mario despite a mostly shared recurring cast - but I wouldn't want Luigi to be listed as a Luigi's Mansion character.

Needless to say, I will not be implimenting the fan demand mechanic I was planning to.

In the universe where SMSB is a real game, Quickplay is going to be absolute hell - like, I'm running off the assumption that this game has rollback; a solid competitive groundwork; and no "cheater" characters, but having to fight against kids/memers/masochists/all of the above using the most horrific custom colour + animated pattern + trail + hat combinations known to man would easily negate that. Not to mention Grand Dad and Bowsette recolours... I at least expect the game to have built in detection for white/yellow Gooigi; skin colours over clothes; and stage camoflague though.

Apparently one of the episodes of the Ghostly Adventures is a just barely legally distinct "stealth crossover" with Space Invaders - which is an extremely clever idea, don't get me wrong, but like... why go through the hassle of checking what you can legally get away with when you can just use Galaga, an IP with the same copyright holder and an established shared universe to the Pacster? Especially given flies are likely easier to animate in 3D than squids.

I watched EmperorLemon's Mac Tonight video, and honestly it's quite beautifully poetic how the character began as an anti-aristocrat anti-hero (Mack the Knife), was appropriated to a corporate "hero" (Mac Tonight), degraded into a villain worse than he was before (Moonman), bled his villainy into the real world (/pol/), and then - in part thanks to that vulgar legacy (McDonald's disowning Mac) - finally got his redemption while returning back to the people. One problem I see a lot with hypothetical platform fighter rosters is this need to be a mega-crossover, when the person making the roster is very clearly only interested in one category of the characters featured. "Microsoft" Smash rosters being dominated by Rare content instead of just making a Rare roster and nothing else is a great example of this.
