I have been seeing Nickelodeon characters in my dreams a lot lately. One where the Ninja Turtles released a book teaching kids how to bottle up their emotions, one where there was a meme of SpongeBob running in front a confederate flag with the caption "Mai shirnui", one where I was investigating a car crash with John Krisfaluci, and last night I had a dream where M. Night Shaymalan's Avatar movie got a sequel that wasn't just whitewashed but explicitly racist.

From the clips I've seen, Amphibia doesn't really strike me as appealing - comes off as a little too edgy with a way-too-chaotic sense of humour for my liking... that being said, I respect any show that implies a shared universe with both Wallace & Gromit and EarthBound.

I think it'd be pretty cool to have a version of coin mode in NASB - there's probably some game show or memorable episode you can base the coin equivalent on (or just do slime blobs if need be) and it would actually give the game a slight edge for casual Smash fans.

I really didn't like the first season of the Animaniacs reboot, that being said - what I've seen of the second season (the Christopher Columbus diss track and the Big Bang Theory reference) it seems a lot funnier and more true to the original.

Multiversus will find it's own niche, but that niche likely won't be the same people hyping it up, and thus like NASB it'll be labled "dead" when it's really just as healthy as any other non-Smash platfighter. Repeat the cycle for every licensed platfighter to come.

Nintendo are doing an official Smash competitive circuit with cash prizes, which is pretty cool. Really hope they 1. don't botch it, and 2. don't forget everything they learned from it both for future tournament and future multiplayers games as a whole.

Giving more thought, I'm mixed on MV.

On one hand, it looks pretty bad, especially when compared to Nick.

On the other, it's good that platform fighters are being seen as more than just "Smash clones" and some publishers are willing to give them budget.

I'm not saying "Ha! Step up your game, Smash!" with this, (Smash's lack of diversity is really the fault of gaming culture and general Japanese media, nothing else) nor am I even implying this was intentional on Ludosity's part (which TBH I'd rather it wasn't) I moreso just think it's kinda cool.
