It's really sad how so many people like to warp the beautiful message of "different is good" into a more scummy "inequality is good" and vice versa.
Most things people use as evidence of "shared universes" seem more like evidence to the contrary.
The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory/Batman "Tim Burton shared universe" example for one - if Smylex (poisonous gas) came before Smilex (toothpaste), why would the company making it want to be associated with the poison gas? and if Smilex came first why aren't they suing the Joker for ruining their good name?
My least favourite trope - like, at all - is the forgiveness bait and switch. You can have the protagonist do that against any kind of villain, no matter how cataclysmic their actions are or how little remorse they show, and it'll instantly make both the villain more symphatheitc and the "hero" significantly less sympathethic
I really hope Namco get the rights to Ms. Pac-Man back soon, her most recent design is the best she's looked in history. A lot more distinct from Pac with a perfectly 80s colour palette. Only thing I'd change is her eyebrows and possibly the specific shade of yellow.
If NFTs were my only viable way out of crippling debt that could starve me to death if unchecked, I'd happily starve.
The Despicable Me DS game is one of the most bizarre instances of early installment weirdness I know - you would never see Minions this varied in a modern day DM product.

"Subversive" social media account managers must be having a nightmare with NFTs - the hip, edgy teen-to-20s youth crowd they're aiming for (who may even be the ones writing the posts) DESPISE these "things" (if you can even call them that) but they can't meme about it because they know the CEOs see big bucks there.
Everybody talks about the 30 billion SpongeBobs, but let's not forget the 1.5 billion Mike Wazowskis needed to defeat Goku
I do believe the slower post-HAL Smash gameplay style has competitive potential, but neither Wii U nor Ultimate have really embraced the chess-like strategy such a playstyle would focus on. If Nintendo wants a competitive game (which it seems they don't), they should either go full Melee or make a distinctly slow-paced and strategic game.

The thing I hate about Seth Rogen DK isn't that it doesn't fit... but rather that it does fit and I'm uncomfortable with that reality.

To me the problem with non-game characters in Smash isn't "losing the focus" but rather that it'd give Nintendo a bigger monopoly over the platform fighter genre than they already have.
One of the main reasons people were hyped about Nick Brawl was because characters like SpongeBob, Aang, the Turtles, Ren & Stimpy, e.t.c. are popular enough (if not more so) to draw as much attention as Nintendo's cast of characters - that would've been lost if Goku got in Smash beforehand and SpongeBob was on the table.

Since one of your most wanted fighters is the Creature thing you play as from E.V.O: Search for Eden.
How would it work as a fighter?
(Maybe Down Special makes you choose a body part to evolve in battle like a tail or horns?)
Going back to SSBU after Nick Brawl is tricky - but certainly not impossible. I'll probably focus on Nick for now.
I honestly think that if Nintendo were honest about their intentions with the Ballot Waluigi probably would've made it into base game.
I was looking up Sweet Cred (2000s UK candy brand with horrific mascots) and found instances of it being acknowledged by both Toby Fox and John Kricfaluski
I hate the fact that the Emoji Movie is technically a historical event.
The funny thing about this OOC Kingdom Hearts clip is that it's actually lifted directly from the original film - but they forgot so many of the essential details that get across "Pooh is going to sleep and dreaming" (the changing background, the score, Pooh's pyjamas even) that it comes off as an extremely weird and much more fantastic scenario.

The new Aquaman show has really good character designs, but is really poorly animated. Reminds me a little of Green Lovers.

The shorthands people use to refer to games is usually determined by which part of the logo is the biggest - case in point:

I was humouring the idea of a "Donkey Kong Country Crossover" like ExplodingRabbit's Super Mario Crossover - can you imagine how broken Sonic would be in DKC? That game has tons of bumps and dents but no loops, ramps or inclines - free speed!
A lot millennial Nick Brawl fans have said that zoomers being unfamiliar with PTM, Oblina, e.t.c. makes them feel old - but I'm a zoomer and I knew those characters (better than my own generation's cartoons I should add) so seeing my generation not know these characters I had always thought were ubiquitous made me feel like an over-intelligent aristocrat.
When Nick Brawl adds alts (which is confirmed, not just a datamine spoiler) I really hope they leave in the option for identical ditto matches, as someone who loves to watch CPU vs. CPU the inability to have identical characters always annoyed me in Smash.
Generally, I don't like generic protagonists or mascots getting over more interesting side-characters - that being said, Tap Trial Girl/Yuka/Rhythm Girl would easily be my choice for a Rhythm Heaven rep in Smash
For one thing I think her generic-ness is a strength - I can't really imagine Karate Joe riding a frog, the Barista playing tennis, or the Choris Kids harvesting onions, but I could imagine Yuka doing both that and everything else other potential RH reps are known for - but also, she's just damn cute. -
