    TBH, I agree, the invicnible one off the stage is REALLY tough.

    For the one onto the stage I use his arm swinging back during the turn around animation as the visual cue. it almost comes to a complete stop right when your're supposed to input

    i know that you know the IC matchup very well (dat Chewyy), so i recommend trying falco if you haven't already

    Other than yesterday when I tried landing with it a few times, I literally don't think I've used DK's nair at all in leik a year.

    Also, Falco is my current secondary, but I use him only for Dedede. I was thinking of picking up MK, Pikachu or ICs instead. I'll most likely go with Pikachu, since everyone knows the MK matchup and I'm too lazy to learn everything about ICs lol. Very few people play Pika/ICs too, which is a big plus). Off the top of my head, DK's notably bad matchups are Dedede, Falco, Olimar, Diddy, ICs, ZSS, TL, and Wario (though not really because of grab release shenanigans). With the exception of Dedede, all of these are completely winnable with the exception of ICs on any neutral not named Yoshi's Island or Battlefield. Pikachu can counter Dedede pretty well and does fairly decent vs. ICs, with the added bonus of doing really well against Falco too. I'd still have some trouble against Olimar, though.

    Also, I have a question that I've been meaning to ask for a while - would you consider DK's nair or even fair/dair as possible landing options when facing towards the opponent? (And when there isn't enough time to b-reverse charge a DK punch for a second then cancel it, allowing you to bair, or if you have a fully charged punch but don't want to use it because it's a very predictable landing option)

    for whatever reason my overnight uploads failed, so i only have a couple matches uploaded so far. the ones with a number at the end of the video title are tournament matches, the ones without are friendlies. (yes, i know i did reeeeally bad vs. hells, especially losing on brinstar lol)

    surprisingly i just realized i didn't play any MKs at all today, a huge rarity of course - especially in ontario lol

    and on another note, i love how there's literally like 1 dedede main in ontario. correct me if i'm wrong but there's a similar situation in IL I believe

    Probably. I asked Yink to ask MJG for me (before I knew you didn't have a teammate). Neither of them have gotten back to me. I was planning on asking you at the event, but I don't wanna just say yes now, while I have an outstanding offer. If he doesn't get back to me before the event, then I'll most likely team with you, but if you find an alternative partner before the event, go for it.
