Hey rick I have to be quick... I'm just doing some travelling atm so I'm very on and off with smash but I'll be back on monday so we can get some games then. And yeah I've stuck with zelda haha... tough times! I enjoy the challenge. I've picked up a few others though - sheik, peach, diddy, ike and ocassionally jiggs.

And I just saw your post in the texture thread - I'll accept your offer =D Terra Branford looks very interesting. I can try doing it for Peach but I've never worked with her texture file before... but I'll definitely get the zelda version up to scratch.

how are things in general anyways? Have you started uni/work/final school year??

Highly possible but tricky timing. Recovering low is not 100% safe against Lucario.

Of course you just played great to and maybe it helped me getting hit by fair all the time as then you can't ko me .

edit: I do hate the items Peach can pull though. One time Yaaay pulled a sword with me way being in lead and I could not do anything with Wario except run the timer down which I did not as I wanted him to have some fun to and of course seeing if Wario can get it. To scary swords .

Considering it were wifi matches it was decent . Getting hit over and over by turnips and fair gets annoying though. But I gues you have the same with some of my moves. But your spacing is way better than it was that day you got destroyed so easily.

I also enjoy normal speedruns though. sda is a site I visit daily for some imba speedruns without TAS. I use youtube for the TAS ones. Some funny Mario World hacks are nice to see then.

I enjoy watching speed runs to. Certainly old school games or fps like half-life.

Yes sometimes you make stupid mistakes wether it is wifi or not. I believe I hit you once with forward smash when you came at me with short hop nair . I make dumb mistakes to. Mostly it is being frustrated that something does not work. Peach is so hard to grab that I might even stop trying unless I am so sure about it. Often I still do a grab after an aerial because I think you will land .

SF4 has made me learn to keep my cool though as I main Bison who has no projectile and relies on zoning and throwing to be succesfull. I love that game . Made some great friends there who are very good in the game. Some even say I am the best Bison in PC for online. I take that as a compliment .

Now that was short.

First two matches I was not serious as I recently have this big fat new controller as my smaller one is starting to fail on me . Or you might have though being super agressive Lucario is for real . C stick works much better as my old one sometimes refuses to smash with it or use an aerial for that matter which is highly annoying.

Alas, you played already way better of course than yesterday. I could not really grab you now. Lol at my dumb huge mistake just before you went offline .

Too bad when you are playing better you can't play for long .

It is that I like Lucario these days though. Even you might recall it was my most hated character. But those go now to characters like Ganon. So much more serious I became since I started SF4. Although with Wario I often jump into **** but I find the matchup just boring vs Peach.

I can play some later, up to you when you can. Not now though .

I know the feeling. As DK vs your spammy Lucario . I got hit everytime by those balls while I did block on time. Certainly for all those charged ones. But I do think you are underestimating Lucario his forward smash. It has quite the hitbox. You need to float really high to get over it. Don't forget Lucario also has many advantages over Peach. I gues you refer to that one as you did not got revenge on Lucario . The fact that Peach can't kill works extremely in Lucario his favor. Lucario with nice DI is deadly as you saw. Only his recovery is predictable but his fall speed is so slow I can often make it with only the second jump.

You also still play it offline? Or you still got noone good to play close to you?

Anyways don't feel bad for WiFi. Turnips are harder to dodge then to but it still is part of Peach her game.

Btw remakes from gold/silver are also made. I am sure going to buy one of those to boost my good memories about the game .

Totodile ownage take 2. He owned that game hard . Also a weakness though that you can just use only one poke to complete all. They must do something like stadium style. That all the leader their pokes are equal level to your highest poke. With the rebattling you have these days it is even easier to level just one or balance out a real team .

Alas, the game is easy but I hope the wifi functions will be great.

You up again for some kicking Pokemon rear end? I can understand if you can't or don't want to though . But I feel like you have the urge of revenege on Lucario. Maybe I only like Lucario vs Peach as she can't kill and my power grows :D.

I also don't mind if you start to camp more next time. Just do what you find needed to win.

You should for sure when I am Lucario. Because he is a bit hard to approach. Now you can see why Peach is slow. I think you need that glide toss to punish the roll abuse I did.

I know all about lag so don't worry. Everytime I have Wario I don't feel like the agile fatty but like the lump on my leg Wario.

Wobbuffet has an abilty called Shadow Tag which prevents you from switching pokes in. Then he can learn Encore which makes you repeat the same move over and over. To sum that up he learns two counter moves one from physical and one for special. They return double damage done on the enemy. As he has a lot of hp you can do the math yourself. He also learns safeguard to prevent any status problems such as sleep, although I don't know if it is worth to waste a turn on that. Plus Destiny Bond, which when he dies the enemy dies. Quite a nasty poke.

Either way I find Lucario fun to play. The weeks I have done SF4 really made me more competive and learn how to properly zone moves. Bison which I main is all about zoning and feinting to deal damage, plus some throw shenigans. I really need to use throw more to in Brawl. It sure made my Brawl game better.

Some fun games. Lucario ditto I went over aggressive which made me lose .
I love it you started to duck under my short hop lasers. Falco has a nice game over peach with that. If you go under it there is time to shield or jab . To bad I suck at it in some situations .

You were so scared by my Sonic that you left after that, even though you won .

Garchamp is together with Wobbuffet the two pokes that are non legendary banned pokes or usable in uber tier only.

edit: I am no avid pro player myself either. But there are many tactics that revolve around spikes. Which will hurt any poke that gets switched in and more if it is your weakness and less when not. This rock move as it is makes it very dangerous to switch some pokes in.

Seems like I always used top tier back in the red/blue days. With Snorlax, Exeggutor, Zapdos, Slowbro and Starmie. Now a lot switches of course with most notable Exeggutor getting from top to bottom much like Falcon. Horrilbe moves and the special split killed him for sure. Base special was 125 for both offense and defense. Since Silver/Gold they split it so most rock pokes and some others stand more of a chance. Alas, for the poor Exeggutor it turned into base 65, which is low. Almost twice as low def as before. I love this poke but he is so horrible now . He still got massive amount of power but he has too many weaknesses.

Ridiculous to be honest. Wario his normal jabs clashes with uber Ganon his magic triforce of power jabs . Nah I just be more patience vs Ganon next time if you want to .

At least Peach vs Wario is quite neutral. Peach seems to have all the tools to deal with Wario. It is quite frustrating to know that not one single approach works on here. I gues I really have to wait adn punish only in these situtions. Easy to dodge her turnips anyway with Wario.

That was indeed short . Ganon is horrible . Maybe another time a bit longer. I was kinda over agressive as you had so few time and I did not want to run the timer down.

I just played sf4 earlier and then playing Brawl is a bit odd.

btw wtf was up with your dashing grab. One time you zoomed at me like you did some sort of snake dash but then with a grab.

I did quite well. But the lag is also a bit less than vs you so I could actually move around a bit better with Wario.

Ganon . You will cry when you face Wario . Ganon has some horrible matchups. I believe 5-95 is his worst omg. He can kill good but the problem is he can't land them on most of the cast.

We sure can play today. As you found your opponent already it has to wait. I can't play in the evening though possibly only very early as it is tv night for me

Hey Rick up for some matches some day again? I know you are off but as you are not as often online anymore, I just ask already .

I think I am going to set the timer next time. I had it already against Yaaay his Peach and even with being semi agressive that timer was down at 3 minutes when it was over . I of course talk about my Wario. Lag with him is less and I could do some more already, was quite refreshing.

Also some bad news. I have found a bit of new love for Falco . I always used him sometimes. But now I start to like him more and more.

I sure miss the times we had some ffa or team games. Too bad Kataefi can't play anymore before midnight .

You played kind of bad vs my Wario this time. I counted like almost no bairs or other moves you usually do. Like not one grab release .

edit: you always seem to have the need to warm up, also inside one match. I had an easy first stock as Samus against your Peach and with Yoshi vs Olimar and then it changed. Although with Yoshi I was rushed as tv started soon :embarrass. To bad we could not play longer as I think you did not needed to go off yet? But I am sure we do it one day again.
