Creation threads are fun but I hate having to work on them in public. It's why I've started keeping some other like, "work work" tab open, because multiple times before someone has looked over my shoulder and asked "What'cha working on?" while I've got three SmashBoards tabs, a Google Images tab, a Wiki tab and a Canva tab open. What am I supposed to respond with? "Oh yeah, I'm just researching for and working on a piece of make-believe content that I would want or think is necessary in a hypothetical and text-only videogame which may or may not be democratically voted into said game in order to craft a fun-to-imagine what if scenario." Yeah I'd rather just say something like "uh, school."

To reinforce my conviction that ARMS has good everything except the gameplay, apparently the ARMS Institute is also easily the best fan Wiki, in terms of overall design, maneuverability, wait times, and aesthetic.

Next time I try to seriously get a character into Infinite, I'm just going full crappost mode because obviously Facts And Knowledge TM isn't cutting it when you've got a "bottom of the barrel" character. Might as well embrace that.

Guys, I have a shocking discovery about myself. I've never looked at the Fighters Legacy thread but I think Captain Falcon would be a cool pick for a fighting game centric crossover, platfighter or otherwise. He's the most ingrained to Smash of all the characters IMO and his moveset is distinctly Smash, so if you wanted a rep from it then there you go.

Having Tracer or Doomfist in Smash would be cool, but honestly I would much rather have an Overwatch fighting game spinoff. Maybe with a story based on the earlier days of the organization during the omnic crisis? Or something focusing on the "present timeline" that a good chunk of the animated shorts take place in? Either would be very cool.

I really love how Roger Craig Smith sounds like an older, more experienced Sonic. Same reason I loved Yuri Lowenthal's take on Peter Parker in the PS4 game.

I have changed my school email profile picture to that Clorox Waluigi edit I made yesterday in hopes that colleges will see it and stop emailing me. It probably won't work since it's all done by bots anyways, but it can't hurt to try.

I really regret letting my school send out my personal info to universities.

While I'd love to have a Proto Man or Roll echo, they would honestly work great as alts due to Rock being mute in Smash and not having any animations that wouldn't fit his siblings.

I played Sonic Mania recently with my seven year old sister, and at first I played as Sonic and she played as Tails, but she wanted to be Sonic at some point, so we swapped controllers. That's when I had a breakthrough - when you want to play Classic Sonic with a less experienced player, always pick Tails.

When the "younger sibling" is playing Tails, they:
-Will get bored/frustrated as Sonic zips around and leaves them behind for several seconds at a time
-Will want to play as the objectively cooler character, Sonic
-Want to try out Tails' flying ability, but can't because of the aforementioned Sonic zipping around

When the "older sibling" is playing Tails, they:
-Can demonstrate to the less experienced player how to do things like spindashes or how to defeat certain enemies/light platforming puzzles without worrying about leaving said player behind
-Can lete the less experienced player explore the levels at their own pace
-Can help the less experienced player cross large gaps with Tails' flying ability (gaps are already hard for platformer noobs since they don't immediatly understand how to move and jump at the same time, and even harder in classic Sonic when you can't just jump and press a direction to achieve a similar result).
-Can let the less experienced player be Sonic

I think I said this a while earlier but didn't elaborate because I was on mobile. But yeah, if you want to introduce a younger/less experienced one to gaming, I highly recommend Sonic 1-Mania, but please, for the love of all that is holy, choose Tails instead of Sonic.
