That's how it is in theory - and even a majority of the time.

This is what I'm advocating for Brawl. The concept behind "Well it's not good enough to play on and isn't fair, but we'll allow it Games 2 and 3" is ********.

There is legal to play on. There is banned. There should be no gray areas or "sometimes legal"...

Imagine applying this concept to characters. (I'm going to use a Brawl analogy, sorry)

"the logic behind a "counterpick stage" is flawed in general. it essentially says that a stage isn't fair enough for game 1, but then it's ok to pick it game 2. you can't use "just ban brinstar" as a counter-argument because then the winning player basically isn't given a ban.

Hey, I was just thinking "Well, who in NY would probably want to come to my tourny in philly" and I could only think of you lol. I don't know much people in NY anyways... Besides Shyguy.

But I just wanted to let you know I'm going to have a philly tournament called MAD (Melee all day) on the 13th of Nov one week before rom3. So yeah, it's rom training.

Plus, all you need to do is chinatown bus it to Philly, and then take a train (Market Franford Line - Westbound to 69th st). So, the train is $2.00, but if you bring $3.10 you could get two tokens, which is better. (You can either get on the train with a token or $2.00, so it's just better to get the tokens)

And then free transfer to Broad Street Line(North to Fern rock and get off at Girard and head to Master st and take a left). (Gah I write too much xD)

Takes 4-5 hours each way. Depends on the time you go, both cities get traffic up the *** around 12. I'd say if you get one at like 10 or so, do that. You'd be in Boston around 3. This only applies to Friday, though.

Tourney should be over around 8 or 9, but people stay in the venue until 11pm or more. I can house you Saturday night and drop you off in the morning if you'd like.

it's pretty close and hard to compare since they're both totally different,but I'd give it to Melee, especially when it involves more physical use aswell as strategic thinking. I haven't played DOTA for a while though...
