Sometimes I think about the absolute stranglehold The Force Awakens had on me (and culture as a whole tbh)
I have so much Kylo Ren, BB-8, Finn, Rey, Poe, Phasma and just general Force Awakens branded stuff in my collections, and I remember that's because it was basically the only star wars merchandise at the time.
I think it is cool Nintendo is doing more stuff with M rated games and Horror
but like why are so many people acting like this is the first time this has ever happened?

I was pretty happy with Tekken's music that got into Smash, we got Yodeling in Meadow Hill we got Plucking Tulips, Karma and Moonsiders

I personally also would have added Knocc Em Down but most places are too cowardly to acknowledge the Tekken Snoop Dogg Stage

Seeing the Caesar's Palace Forum Shops at a young age, I think fundamentally altered my brain and is one of the main reasons I love elaborate theming so much
Las Vegas is an interesting place to me, because like it is mostly about gambling and casinos, but then in the 80s and 90s they really wanted Theme Park level tourist destinations, and they spent so much money and built such opulent things that even though they are not really going for "Family Friendly" anymore, the DNA from that era is literally set in stone in Vegas. Like there is no reason for these elaborate shops to be built in a Casino, They would not be built today, but since they spent so much money, they have to work with it. It's amazing.
I love all the things they added to the Mii maker in the Miitopia Switch Port
But I dunno, the simplicity of the normal Mii maker is so unique that it hasn't really been replicated. With how seemingly limited it is, I feel it has allowed people to be incredibly creative and I think I might prefer it.
I feel like Nintendo can make a lot of extra money by rereleasing a lot of the Wii series games but just renaming them to the "Mii Series"
"Mii Sports" flows way better than Current Nintendo Console Sports.

There being a Bubsy collection is fine, always good to be able old games on new consoles.
but also I feel like the Shock Value and Jokes around Bubsy have worn off so the audience is small and basically only fans of Bubsy 1, so good for them, I guess.

Y'know I think I was a bit too snarky in that last post, I am basing too much **** off of a single trailer, while I still have worries and nitpicks about the game (I am sick of Zelda games with "Blank of Blank" as it's subtitle) The sheer fact we are finally getting a new 2D Zelda and one where Zelda is actually playable is still mind blowing.
They really let Zelda have a sword once, thought it was too cool and never did it again huh?

I didn't even know there was a Mark Of The Wolves figure line, It was a pretty decent price too, definitely don't have the money for any figures right now though (Also if I get a figure from this line I might as well save to get the Rock Howard figure)
Watching more Sparking Zero footage and we have never been more back, it looks like everything I have wanted in a new Tenkaichi game.
Only problem is that we have yet to capture a CSS as soulful as the Budokai 3 one.
Highlander in TF2 might be my favorite competitive ruleset in any game. The rules are, each team has 9 players and there can only be 1 of each class, and that's it. I just find these rules to so pure to what TF2 is, while also going deep into the mechanics of every class and combo while not being too restrictive on anything else.
It seems like every time Nintendo officially interacts with their Competitive fans, something terrible happens

The High Templar and Hydralisk figures also bother me so much, Why are their eyes closed. They don't have eyelids
Now that I've had some time to think about the SF6 DLC. I do really like Terry and Mai as guest characters, but having both of them in the same Season is kind of lame since there are still so many SF characters not yet in.
I knew M. Bison was going to come back at some point, so ripping that Band-aid off soon is probably for the best, I like the SF2 cast, but they are not the most exciting DLC characters (Although from Akuma and what we are looking at with Bison, I might have to take that back)
No complaints about Elena, love her new design, glad she is back
Really though, I think my problems really start from that 4 characters a year is slow (Albeit a necessary evil to keep quality) and I am kind of having Guest character fatigue. (I say this knowing fully well that I will totally play the **** out of Terry and Mai when they come out.)
Why did I have to get the "Cares a lot about Official Transparent Character Renders" skill and not like "Good at Math" or "Being able to concentrate on something for more than 5 minutes" skills?
At SGF Geoff Keighley will change his name to a more sensible spelling of the name "Jeff"
Beat Yakuza 3
I liked everything about this game aside from the actual gameplay, The story and characters were great as always, This game really reminded me why I like this series and Kiryu. But oh dear walking around felt like a chore with the awful encounter system and the combat was repetitive. I felt no incentive to do the side content, which Is why I feel like I rushed the game a bit. I do like this game, but I would put 0 and the Kiwamis ahead of it.
Also why do there have to be 5 more games? can't my guy Kiryu just be happy??
Yakuza 3 end of chapter 11
Star Wars Hunters finally came out, I was looking forward to this ever since it was announced at a direct a while ago.
The game is actually pretty fun, Nothing too complex but it controls fine and I like how ever character is unique to this game, making it feel more special.
but it also has every single bad Mobile game experience, Terrible menus, online only, multiple currencies, battle pass (At least it doesn't have a Gacha)
Ever since this Jerma clip of him saying "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" completely befuddled
I have been chasing the high of finding something nearly that funny.
The best I got is FuwaMoco saying Team Fortress 2, but it isn't befuddled or really all that funny, and Gonzo saying Tears Of The Kingdom on a Game Awards stream. Which isn't the same energy as the Jerma Clip but Gonzo is funny. but Geoff Keighly is there which makes things less funny automatically.
Y'know I think I am glad Fortnite didn't get any content in Smash Ultimate
because since Ultimate ended, Fortnite has added some of the best songs they've ever had to the game, and now in the next smash they have a chance of getting in.
I've mentioned this once before but I have been thinking about making new accounts for everything and """starting over""" on the internet, just to make a clean slate for any algorithms and maybe even look more professional. (I'd still keep the names and accounts, but they would just be for personal posting like this site)
But this username I have had since I was like 8 years old so I have a lot of attachment to it and all artistic or video work I have done on the internet that I am proud of I have done with this username. But I also associate it with me being a ****head teenager. (Also the concept of someone I know IRL being able to find this account through my username is slightly terrifying.)

I feel like I am a decent chunk of the way through Yakuza 3 I am on chapter 6 and Just beat up Kanda in the Love Hotel and I have really enjoyed the story of this game so far. I love how the mystery is unfolding and the character stuff is good, I really like Dad Kiryu. Rikiya seems like a character that could get really grating, but I haven't been annoyed by him at all, he is a good dude. The combat isn't as bad as I was expecting, it is still only okay. The worst part so far has been the fetch quests and repetition, the random encounters are also annoying. Also kiryu controls like trash but I think that is a symptom of playing a 2009 PS3 game with a PS5 controller
