Adding Yoshimitsu to a roster to represent both Tekken and Soulcalibur is one of those things where it makes sense

But like he wouldn't be the most representative Tekken Rep and an Underwhelming Soulcalibur rep.

One thing I like about the Fortnite Version of the Avatar cast is that they are based on their Comic designs



Using the show designs might have made Aang and Toph look weirdly proportioned and cursed so I think this was a good way of handling it (Although I do wish Aang had his Book 1 outfit)

Also Sokka got screwed over, they added his Club and Sword but no skin.

Also they were cowards and gave Aang and Katara normal Minifigures and not cursed abominations

Beat Princess Peach Showtime

I have way more thoughts on this game than I thought I would.

It is a delightful and fun game from start to finish that also feels like it is deliberately holding itself back at every turn.

Potential Unmarked Spoilers below!

All of the transformations are really fun to use and are cool but the game is so short than I wanted way more from each one. Which is probably a better outcome than getting sick of them. But as the inverse to that I also feel like each transformation should have much more expanded movesets and so a lot more unique things than they do. Instead of individual stages for each transformation we got a whole world dedicated to each transformation, turn this into Princess Peach Kingdom Hearts

Visually the game is great, GoodFeel really had the theater aesthetic nailed down, there is a projector mapping effect that looks spectacular. Sometimes it can look a bit cheap but only if you are being nitpicky.

I love how this game is separated from the Mario universe almost entirely. But I really wish we got more unique character designs for 90% of the game the only characters you see outside of peach are the theets who all look identical and the sour bunch who also look identical. They all just wear admittedly very silly outfits. I kinda wish that the Sparkla all had unique designs so that peach could have her own set of unique set of side characters like how Wario does and maybe even make peach her own unique franchise.

This is a great game but I still think Peach deserves a bigger adventure.

I feel like whenever people respond to anything related to the AAA gaming market with "Just play Indie lol" it is just super corny and also kinda ignores the very real issues happening in the indie game space like it being Incredibly Difficult to find funding and also Layoffs and acquisitions. And that is on top of the standard issues of how difficult it is in general to find an audience.

It is just more using Indie Games as a bludgeon.

I think there were frame drops in cutscenes but I might have been imagining that.

So far this game has been fun though, I am excited for the full release.

2B's inclusion in Granblue Versus is still weird to me.

The only guest character in a game that already has a weird selection of characters from the source material and 2B is not even in Granblue proper. The crossover characters in main Granblue were heavily requested and would have been more interesting and could have brought in way more new players than 2B did.

Completely rearranging my game collection and I learned that I have 208 games.
And only one of them is Rhythm Heaven Fever so like what is the point of having these other games?

So I am gonna be honest, I only really knew Resident Evil stuff from osmosis and crossovers and a few other things like let's plays and reviews but I have never beaten any of the games.

So I am starting with REmake, I started as Chris, slammed my head against the wall for 2 hours. Restarted as Jill and died without saving.

From my knowledge of the series this is a normal experience.

The fact that there are still games in 2024 that don't have full input customization is frankly unacceptable.

I like how the FF7 Remake series looks but ever since I saw these Bring Arts figures

I've brought up the topic a few times but I think I can say now that yeah I think Smash 4 is the best looking smash game.

Undertale is quite possibly my favorite game of all time but I really struggle with trying to make a smash movesets for it.

I don't like the idea of Sans being based on the genocide route. Because that is not really representative of the character, but it would be valid for a moveset.

I struggle with Frisk because I don't think they should directly attack and I have the same problems with sans where the genocide route doesn't really fit.

In trying to not do the Genocide route it adds the pitfall of easily getting too gimmicky.

That is why I shill for Undyne because I can think of way more ways to make her fight and have it still represent Undertale and her character. Same thing applies to the Fun Gang.

I really hate the name of this game



There are 2 different brands and then the name of the genre, no pizzazz, no flair, nothing.

Especially when there is a very fine name they could have used

So like there was a standard Twitter interaction bait post about "Worst First Party Switch Game" and like I feel if anyone answers with anything aside from Everybody 1-2 Switch it is just to get people mad

I have the biggest love hate relationship with Limited Run Games and basically all limited release game retailers

I like that they are giving more games physical editions and the releases are high quality and the collector's editions are cool

Why the **** do they make the non collector editions limited??

I know it is because of FOMO money, but like, not having them be limited would end up not only making more money but also help their brand image. They could also have the collector money by having more Collector, special and deluxe editions.

I think it is a record with how immediately people misunderstood the phrase "Canon event"

Do you think there is someone out there who still refers to the final fantasy series by their original US names to the point where they call Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy IV and so on and so forth?

Switch 2 rumors might take over GTA VI rumors as "Most annoying current rumor cycle"

Constant back and forths of release dates, when we don't even have a proper name, and then there is the people in the back slowly trying to start Console War bull**** when no one actually gives a **** about Console War stuff. But then the Steam Deck people get involved trying to start more Console War stuff, when people continue to not care.

And then there are the Nintendo fans who are still weirdly stalwart in saying that there is no Switch 2 and the Switch will remain for a while. That isn't a real part of the rumor cycle being annoying, I just find it kinda funny.

And then for GTA VI, It has mostly calmed down since that trailer but then there is the ever present "No games should release within 3 months of GTA VI" but that isn't really a part of the rumor cycle, more just a symptom of the game itself.

I went down a bit of a pre-gaming Nintendo rabbit hole and found out that Nintendo made a Rip-off Lego Kamen Rider set

and it looks bad


I need it right now, this may actually be a holy grail for both my Tokusatsu Collection and Nintendo Collection

Unfortunately, I see no listings up for it right now and if there are they are ridiculously hard to find, and if it is anything like Nintendo's old Kamen Rider Clock than it would also be absurdly expensive.
