I'm running into this convo completely out of context so I'll just lol and walk away.

Dtilt and Fsmash aren't bad for well-spaced spamming... otherwise... ewww

USmash is annoyingly good, it's almost impossible to DI entirely.

Wow it seems like there's lots of newer faces. The gardevoir textures are awesome. Is it possible to change Zelda into, say, weezing?... I'd use that, forever :chuckle:

Also I've been playing 999. Amazing game. Has anyone played/finished it?

I got it for Christmas and love it, but then school came... and now there's not a lot of time to play it. I definitely plan on finishing it though... eventually.

I did import it =D You have to get it half-split because it's much better than what I expected. I think it's very short though, but that isn't a problem for reasons you'll know when you play it.

Riot how far into it are you?

Yeah I know about the whole idea that the game is supposed to be played through multiple times. Sounds pretty interesting, as well as the fact that the storyline actually changes based on your choices. If they don't start coughing up the EU release date soon I'll resort to importing or more likely to other means of getting the game, which really sucks since I want to support the creators.

Also, since I got into complaining about the lack of EU releases, Nintendo couldn't piss me off more right now.

Not very far at all. I think like maybe 3 hours in or something I like it, but I can't play games like that in short spurts so I have to wait until I have a free weekend or something. =P Very happy I bought it though.

Random: I forgot if I ever told you guys about the time I used Din's while standing on PKMN ST1 and Zelda fell through the middle of the stage and died... I don't know why I just remembered that but it was weird and I was wondering if anything like that had happened to anyone else.

A lot of stages have holes in the middle..... PS1 and CS are two of the more notorious ones. :urg:

I was playing a Wolf once on PS1, and he randomly fell through the middle of the stage lol. Was pretty funny.

Man, I haven't played brawl in probably... well at least a year and a half. Is zelda really ranked as being the 2nd worst character in the game? WTF happened? Last time I played she was around mid tier which I knew was higher than she should actually be placed in the long run but REALLY??? THAT LOW?!?! I don't follow competitive brawl at all anymore and haven't for a long time, but is she legitimately that bad of a character or is she just under represented? Seriously, I'm gonna have to go to a brawl tournament now just to play against people and see how the metagame's changed and why zelda can't hold her own against apparently any character.

I mean, I know zelda sucks and that some matchups are really hard (maybe almost impossible) but I just can't bring myself to think that she should be that low on the tier list. I guess I should go watch some videos of zelda players getting ***** so that I can better understand how her options are shut down.

Zelda's amazing. TRIFORCE OF WISDOM *****

Don't lose hope

first off, I must have your avatar picture because it looks awesome.

Anyway, we took a lot if negative hype going into tier list v4 and took a mega fall. Then dropped another spot in v5. We are terribly underrepresented and we really don't have anything special as far as advanced techniques and such. The biggest minus is how bad Zelda gets camped. We can get camped in almost any MU. It's really a shame honestly.

I will never lose hope though.

Japan has different rules. Timing out is discouraged because it's not honorable in martial arts to run from your opponent. A game is 10 min, there's no stalling, and if time runs out the winner is determined by who wins the sudden death. Getting the lead isn't nearly as important.
Characters like Link and Zelda are noticeably better in this format, but we're not in Japan so **** :(

I.... wasn't being serious @GK, lol.

Zelda being midtier here would be a joke.

Ghost trick does look really interesting. I've been watching loads of vids. Are there multiple outcomes and twists of fate and stuff?

Also, since I got into complaining about the lack of EU releases, Nintendo couldn't piss me off more right now.
Has an FF7 feel to it! =D

Out of curiousity, which door did you take at the start? I chose 5.

Depends. Are you buying or downloading?
You mean Wii games or Wii-Ware/Virtual consol?

Worse comes to worse I could even do DS or GCN (I mean I am SOOOOO buying pokemon Black... but I'll want a break from pokemon sometimes)

I can do either, really.

As for RPGs I already have on the Wii:
Rune Factory Frontier
Fire Emblem: Radient Dawn
Tales of Symphonia 2: Dawn of the New World
Super Paper Mario (not a great game BTW)

Okami and Twilight princess too if you count those as RPGs and not adventure games.

Oh and I watched Omnigamer play through, like 90% of Murmasa: the Demon Blade... so It wouldn't be SUPER fun to play that since I've already seen it.

Are there REALLY that few RPGs for the Wii? :(
