I just had an off day, was too aggressive and attacked all day. Haven't been practicing much! On top of that I went marth against Yoster first round and he handed me my ***. Cockiness=no good. Boss lost to chinesah and myself, then I lost the very next round to a diddy. Aggressiveness does not work well against bananas it appears =p

Any advice you could give a tourney newbie, especially ZSS related?

Yes, have your friends counter pick character and stages, like all hell, for a few days before hand. (This is what got me I had never played more than a few matches on some of the counter pick stages, and I wasn't totally sure how It would effect my game)

Other than that just go in and don't worry about it, bring something else to do, in case the tourney is big and you are getting all stressed out waiting between rounds, even though I know someone is going to say watch the best players blah blah blah.

ZSS players are really steppin it up, maybe ZSS deserves A maybe B tier? I mean ZSS has a small player base, yet every tourney they consistantly do well. Add in that in every char. ranking list, she is moving up in each one <_< maybe I should think about using ZSS.

Theres something about the female characters in this game that makes them related somehow. Like I use Zelda/Peach/Ness/Pit but for some reason Zelda/Peach are my best characters, and they play similar somehow. I mean even Snakeee is using Zelda/Sheik now, so if u use one female character, ur bound to eventually be good w/ another just because they play so similar >_<

The ONLY matchup that I think ZSS has any SIGNIFICANT trouble with is Falco. Everyone else I feel is in the 50's.

I'd agree with you if we were talking about Brawl+, but in Brawl, ZSS has too many weaknesses, viz. being above opponents/approaching characters with good horizontal stage control to be that high up. She's certainly better than people are giving her credit for, but I can't see her getting much higher than high tier.

She can dair if an opponent if is pressuring her too hard in the air up high. Otherwise I trick them with letting them think im gonna land one way and as soon as I see they're about to hit me or they're charging me I do a reverse down b since it has invincibility. she doesnt have to side b EVERYTIME she's about to hit the ground like videos I see of people.

She can outrun/wit approaching opponents with her agility, high jumps/fast FF, and down b. We have to be more evasive since people know how to get pass spamming side b now. -_-
I describe ZSS as a Mexican jumping bean at times.
