Since I'm officially a mod of this board now (yay!), I can update the main post from time to time if you guys want. I'll try to get that done sometime this weekend.

Also...

R = ((P^-1)xE/5)+(W-E)

In this equation, winnings (Money earned) seems to be an overwhelming factor. I could change the equation to (W/E) so winnings are still a factor but nerfed. This way, the difference between 3rd place (earning money) and 4th place (usually not earning money) isn't around 100 points.

I honestly don't mind either way, just running this idea by everyone, feedback wanted :D

So initially, I thought, "Man, I'm going to have to redo every single placement on here ;_;," then I realized my equation only applied to the placements that earned money, making this task a ton easier >_>

Thread updated, etc, although I only got the previous entry changes (due to the new equation) for now. Any changes made are in yellow, with their previous point totals in gray. Feel free to correct me on any mistakes I've made, an extra pair of eyes would be great

That's the first tournament that I noticed wasn't on the list. Looks like you've got a lot of posts to run through. Also, I have no clue about that doubles project.

Please start formatting your results like that. I don't mind if you want to post the full results of everyone who entered, that's actually a good idea. As long as you format your results line so I can just copy/paste it over and calculate instead of having to format it first, I'll be a happy daz. (EDIT: A link to the tournament results thread would also be great, but not required.)

Also, if you don't post what the tournament's entry fee was, I'm just going to assume it was $0 (Charby >_>)

Oh yeah, another thing I was thinking of doing...

I noticed on the Yoshi boards' power rankings thingy they do, they have players names listed in their respective color of choice, so feel free to list what you use and I'll update the rankings accordingly. I started using black lately, and I'm pretty sure Snakeee goes green.

Also, how should I list black, with SWF's background color? >_> I might just list as purple because I was using that up until I switched to black, unless someone gives me a creative way around it.

The effect this tournament has on the current point rankings is a little odd, since the Southwest players wished to forfeit their points to the Midwest Circuit Players, a kind gesture of them (after they took our money! lol). GGs to all, I'll update points and shoutouts when I've got them figured.

no pay means not serious, if this isn't true I should go and post some of mine due to my low funds (aka broke no wait wooo $14), I can't go to much I play alot of friendly tournies, I have only not gotten first once, insulting my Tv shows, peanut gallery argh(I sometimes get all spergin when people make fun of my favorite books/shows.)

Heck I won one of these as the randomator, (maining random, I saw during warmup they were just a bunch of scrubs so I was like time to make some kids cry :smug: )

I only ever go Pink or Black. I can't really get excited about the other ones. I used to be a fan of the Varia Suit in Melee, but I can't really get into that one for Brawl.

If you're putting down black for the stat, just go white. There's no white suit for ZSS, so it works.

I have a problem. Whenever I'm really beating someone. I tend to get too "comfortable" then I always (well, the 2 matches I lost) lose by some weird way. It happened with Ninjalink (was recorded) and happened with P~S. I wish I could stop doing that. I was talking with NEO and he said that I should try being more "consistent." I need to learn how. Help?
