Because Ken won everything for a very long period of time lol.

Since his retirement, multiple players have rose to become the top player in the world, but none have stayed #1 for an extended period of time.(In comparisson to Ken atleast)

i think mango was #1 around as long but im not 100% sure
he was pretty much the best from like 2008- genesis 2 right?

Caveman needs to get back in the scene and bust out his YL, according to HMW he could beat Hbox.
He's even done well against Darkrain.

On that note, I've never seen an actual YL main fight Hbox, it'll prove whether its just Armada's omega reflexes that help him win or if knowledge of the character prevails.

I can bring HBox down to last stock whenever I play him. He's a better player than I am.

So that's saying something.

Last time he won a BIG national was Pound 4? (Early 2010)
Im not in any way try to say he could not win Apex2010/PoundV exc but he did not play serious so it is not fair to Hbox/PP exc to count it as Mango would have won if he played.

I think mango was probably number 1 about as long as ken...
I don't think that sandbagging in a couple of tournaments negates his rank of number 1 for that period of time.

it'd be like if that armada kid up thar^ went all kirby at an international and Hbox ended up winning, Hbox wouldn't be the best just because of that.

I disagree. If Armada decides to not try and he starts losing because of it, then that is his fault and should drop. Not necessarily after just one single tournament, but if someone is going to sandbag for multiple large tournaments, then I see no reason why said player should get to keep their spot (unless they're still winning, of course :p). Otherwise, Armada could just start sandbagging right now and retain his number 1 spot indefinitely.

Watched your matches against Darc Sora, you basically played it right though I would have recommended counterpicking KJ64 or Dreamland, Puff is pretty good on Cruise lol.

However, seeing as you are a top YL main, it proves Armada's reflexes > Puff, not YL.

I was... But Darc told me that young link was better than puff on cruise but I guess you're right. My match with M2K was also save on Boxman's live stream twitch account. You could see me get semi **** with Darc's hilarious commentary.

Yeah Aesir, Mango was #1 for awhile, he's a phenomenal player, unfortunate his run as top in the world, is not near that of Kens. Besides, for all we know, with that characters he was choosing to use, maybe he wasnt sand bagging at all and giving it his all, we don't know for sure whats true, regardless when it comes down to it, it comes to results. You can't say player a is better then player b even though player a always finishes in the middle of the bracket while player b is winning/getting top 3 in the tournaments.

Mango is too good. Armada is incredible. Hbox plays puff. PP is amazing. when they win a tourney thats a win they have. their"ranking" means nothing on its own and is based off of wins. Why is this so hard...


Also im kidding, hbox is crazy good

I think we all know Mango is the best Puff, when he's not using Puff, he's sandbagging/trying to make it more entertaining for us.
That's why I REALLY want to see his Puff vs Armada's YL, maybe once Armada beats Mango's spacies enough. Based on his input the first time Hbox and Armada did the Puff/YL he thinks he could beat Armada's YL. "That's embarrassing, it's a bad match-up okaaaaaayyyy".

haha I think I remember something about PP giving Mango's Puff the business. Hbox's Puff is better. Also, Mango plays the Peach/Puff MU wrong. I think Armada could beat Mango's Puff with Peach.

i think armada can beat mango anyway. but still, if mango accepted his loss of the title of number 1 and just went straight falcon i might think he is the coolest guy around

Mango doesn't play a lot of MUs correctly, but he still wins.

A bit off topic, but Puff isn't good on Cruise...

Bad mobility on a massive stage that forces you to move? Low ceiling during some parts? Anti-puff territory right there. Just gotta learn how to play it.

I knew about that for the most part. I didn't know you could just drop a bomb on it and it'll do the same thing. I use to have the bomb sit on the edge and I'd sweet spot the edge and have the last hit of my up B send it away.

All these people.

Making it harder for me to be known.

I tried YL in teams a couple days ago, was teamed with a Falcon, didn't go so well...
I kept getting stuck in one-on-one situations and getting *****.
A few matches later my bad Fox did a 3-stock Isai lawl, shows you how bad YL is in teams.
