In the scenario that Armada counters Hbox with Ylink to Puff. Then Hbox switches to a secondary per say Ness. Then we have Ness vs Ylink. Then Armada switches back to Peach. Then next game Armada goes back to Peach. Then next game Hbox goes back to Puff.
They can both keep countering each other. The only thing we know is this.
Hbox Puff > Armada Peach in this MU
Hbox Puff = Armada Ylink Yes its even then went to second set gfs at Apex. Its even.
Hbox Ness ? Armada Ylink
Hbox Ness ? Armada Peach.
As for the Nair discussion, Ylink really doesnt have many effective options, hope you can get the pressure with a bomb I suppose.
Disagree. I saw HBox barely scrape three games (two of those were so narrow as to be akin to the one other game he's taken
) and then lose three games straight in fairly convincing fashion (the last one was a little bit less convincing. To me it honestly looked as though Armada might have been taking the opportunity to try new things so that he'll still be beating him next time around if he stays Puff. I saw two games of Armada having him figured out, three games of HBox magically winning by the slimmest of margins, and then three games of Armada having him all figured out again.
Even if you disagree with that assessment...
--They're 10-4 in terms of games and 3-1 in terms of sets at the three tournaments where they've played this MU.
--The one set that HBox has taken was 3-2, while in the other three sets combined he's only taken a single game
--He took one game by a 1% timeout, one game by a ~20%, one game by same-stock timeout with a large percent differential, and one game by last-stock ~100%. At least two of those victories (the 1% timeout at Genesis 2 and the last-stock ~100% game, which I believe was the first game he took at Apex 2012) were very clearly owed to titanic mistakes by Armada rather than sparks of brilliance by HBox (one was the bomb exploding in his face, the other was a crazy random across-the-stage dair that Hbox just sort of got to sit in front of and grab to throw him off-stage for the gimp). He's never taken a game by more than a stock, ever, and Armada has--the games that Armada wins (which, again, there are over twice as many of), he tends to win by a greater margin.
I dunno, they may be even, but in my opinion the evidence is pretty clear that Armada's still got it on lock. I think HBox needs to have some epiphany (ePuffany?) or switch characters.
