I met Neko sometime last summer. I haven't really got to play much since the last time I played back then cuz I went to boot camp, then I went to A school. Now I'm back in my home region. I got to play P:M a little bit whole I was in Florida though. I think it was the demo though lol

I jacked a closed alpha version from one of my friends who's friends with someone on the dev team, so I play to my heart's content, lol.
Although there's only one other person whom I play with that prefers it to Melee.
Everyone else plays a few matches, whines that the top tiers from Melee don't feel identical in Project M, and go back to Melee, leaving me to play computers... f*****s...
Of course they all play characters that Link and YL suck against so I'm forced to use Marth who I'm best with but I find boring and overused.

I pretty much played Melee for two days overnight.

I so wish I recorded teams last night. I was ****ing **** up!

Marth/YL is amazing.

Well the aerial up B can be used as a finisher now. And it's just like how it was in 64.

Bair is still Toon Link's Bair.
Nair is YL's nair.
I believe fair is YL's.
Dair is YL's.

That's all I can really remember.

Oh up B can be charged on the ground and youc an move after you do it.

TL's dair has fewer start-up frames than YL's did.
His fire arrows reach farther, and his boomerang has more hit-stun.
full-hop bair -> bair -> fire spike is also a legit combo on larger characters.

False, this is Project M we're talking about, larger characters are now far more viable.
And the combo works on smaller characters too, just at more strict percents.

BRLNK88, you should post in the Project M thread, so your feedback can be seen by more of the PMBR than just me.
I did post in there but none of the PMBR seemed to agree with me.
I complained that TL's newest up-B in PM sucks because it has barely any recovery distance, and I seriously doubt they're going to change it.
And when I say barely any recovery distance, its almost as bad as 64 Links. Almost all his off-stage options are eliminated, most importantly, his nair gimp. You can't go very far off stage with his new up-B and be certain to make it back. I might go as far as to say his up B distance is now worse than Link's which is just messed up.

I probably won't watch your stream because I'll be streaming too. I'm probably going to stream Project M and if I still want to play later, I'll switch to Melee.

Well I can't stream cuz the internet is pretty bad here. I've been recording some. I'm gonna give the files to someone else to upload though. I'll let you guys know what's up.

Ewww project m. Talk melee in melee threads!

:phone:
False, unless your explanation is justified.
Plays like melee, more characters, new advanced techniques, more balanced cast, dire buffs given to low tier characters = BETTER GAME

I personally like having chalenges when I play. Which is why I play low tiers.

Cuz they're low.

I don't mind a little challenge, but trying to beat high level foxes with Link is just too much.
I know a lot of other people feel the same way otherwise MK would never have been banned.

I'm sick of playing stupid Marf, I want a game that plays like Melee where you choose virtually any character and have a decent shot at winning.
Link is my best, but his limitations in Melee are just too much for me.
I use smash to get away from the challenges of life, the last thing I need is added challenge to my recreational activities.

lol super easy, both MUs suck big donkey ****.

Fox/Link is 80:20 at best, Fox /YL is maybe 85:15.

Link is too slow to deal with Fox's BS, and everything YL does, Fox does better.
Maybe if Link had better options out of shield and a better grab game. Actually grabbing Fox with Link by itself is a pain.
In recent history I don't think a top level Link has taken a set from a noteworthy Fox (Lucky, Jman, Silent Wolf, etc.).

The only set I could think of was Lord HDL vs UUAA.

Is there a more satisfying feeling than forcing Marth to recover on stage and ledge-hop dairing his ***?
