Why do I like Ylink dittos...

They are really fun. I also like ylink vs link.

I find them to be spam fest; which is why I just go aggro and stay in their face as much as possible.

Yea. Every ylink knows how to spam. The knowledge of what to do in the close range will give the better ylink the edge

I've actually got a better close range game then spam.. I approve of this.. I hate spamming...

Haha the thing is, ylink cannot really attack shields the way other characters can. His attacks cannot shield poke and his slow grab requires hard guessing and doesn't lead to much. Sometimes the best response to shielding is jumping back and pulling a bomb. Hate to break it to you but in some matchups (peach, samus, jigglypuff) ylink has no choice but to spam a ton of bombs.

Against Marth in particular you MUST spam to have any sort of chance.
Only way to get in is to first make contact with a projectile.

Hm yes Marth too. Bombing his shield is a decent way to pressure him too. Cuz his main escape is wd back or wd forward, in which case I think wd forward is even better for marth

If you want a little more of an advantage. Talk **** on him as he runs into your nairs.

I don't do it much. Mostly only if the guy is my good friend. When I focus I just have an angry ifc yipes face

My strategy against Marth:

Throw a projectile, if it hits, go in with a nair, then go nuts.
Throw a projectile, if it misses, throw another one.
Throw a projectile, if it hits, go in with a nair, if the nair misses, fall back and throw another projectile.

Don't get grabbed, don't get hit by his long sharp metal pole thing.
