But serial, I argued with Gimpyfish about TL's new and horrid recovery and Gimpy tries to pretend he knows anything about TL, and that it "balances" him out.
Otherwise he plays like a buffed up YL.

ToonLink shouldnt have been nerfed as much as he was but I do believe a little something did have to happen

Toon Link himself got buffed a good bit offensively (compared to Young Link), its his recovery that got ridiculously nerfed when it was already mediocre (the older closed alpha had his up-B identical to Young Link's in distance).
The PMBR is putting it off by claiming you can now bomb jump with TL, but any Link main knows that bomb jumping is supposed to be a last ditch effort to save yourself, it should NOT be a regular recovery technique. I don't understand why they can't just keep the new animation but maintain its old distance.
TL is a light character with average range, he needs at least a semi-long recovery. Why does Pikachu get to recover to the moon and TL falls like a sandbag?

Yeah Bomb jumping isnt the easiest thing in the world to get 100% of the time either, so I dont agree with that at all...

I'm a bit confused... air dodging puts you in a helpless animation, how could you throw a bomb up after air dodging?

Yeah Bomb jumping isnt the easiest thing in the world to get 100% of the time either, so I dont agree with that at all...

Nothing wrong with loving your Fox, but one of the main goals of PM was to really balance the cast so that there aren't any really bad match-ups.
Even with the bomb jump TL is easy shine spike meat, so he better be able to contend with Fox on stage which I have yet to see evidence of.

Airdodge can be interrupted with throwing items. That's how Aerial Glide Tossing works. If you follow the video's instructions, you'll know how to bomb jump.

Ive never been good with the bomb recovery, part of the reason Ill never main link. That and I like fast characters

I quit maining Link in Melee because I realized that most people are tier *****s and I would constantly be facing really bad match-ups in tournament.

That's a very small list jackfruit pound cake, which just shows how hard it is to do well with Link at a higher level.
I need better odds than that.

The reason why there arent many Link mains is the same as any low tier.

People have a difficult time placing well, switch to spacies(top tiers) and yeah.

The low tier mains I idolize because they have had such a more difficult time with progresssing up the later but they still got there.

Everyone knows how to beat YL... that's not Hbox's problem.
His problem is if he switches to a secondary against Armada, Armada can just go Peach and **** him up.
