That and honestly what developements in the character are there to make? Yoshi is only gonna get better if the people using him get better. There's no "secret new metagame" for yoshi that hasn't been discovered (that means he can't aircamp air >_>), just little mixups or spacings that haven't been achieved yet. If a top yoshi main ever arises then it'll be clear not because of what he does as yoshi but what he does as a player.

Seriously though, what he says is absolutely the truth. Yoshi's metagame, although it has the capacity to change more than most, probably will be very similar, its just the top players using him that will show what he can do.

Oh, I'm sorry, I fell far onto a big rock, head first, a couple of months ago, and it's just now starting to wear off. What was I thinking?! Surely players can't get better through experimenting with their own character, as well as gaining a complete understanding about them! Surely players can't get better by thinking outside the box by abusing certain outstanding qualities of their character in ways that haven't been abused yet! And my ways must definitely be wrong if I'm performing a lot better in the match itself than I ever have before! Well, I guess I'mma just play simple and throw eggs on the ground, and run around to upsmash, since playing simple is what got Diddy Kong so **** high up! HURR DURR UP SMASH :B

A private group missing some of the better yoshi mains, who may have developed stuff u have no idea about (not me, but why dont u have hades!)
Like i said i dont care, im just giving my opinion and responding to ur post. I am not against the BR, im just saying its imo worthless and wont accomplish anything.

Air you've been performing better at tournaments in Kentucky. WHO THE **** LIVES IN KENTUCKY xD? Your improvement is probably just you becoming a smarter player than the other people who live in Kentucky, not some new "aircamp style".
No one said play simple, just play smarter. ATM there's really no "better" way to play yoshi, just a smarter way. Yoshi doesn't have a great approach/camp game and his "aircamp" game is nonexistent so yes there really are only very few styles for yoshi that work at the moment. But like I said, it's about being smart, not fancy or new.
Lemme rephrase this post so it says the truth bluntly: the YBR at the moment is completely useless because not only is it missing some good yoshi mains, it doesn't DO ANYTHING.
You wanna make the YBR useful? Invite good yoshi mains into it and collaborate on a project. A guide, a new moveset description of how to use them, anything if it makes the group actually worth something. Do what the peach boards did and make a YBR account where all projects are made on.
At the moment it's just a group that gives an empty title.

Well, I am going to be going to Toronto in about a week or two.

I'm technically in Mississauga, about 40 minutes away from Toronto and it's considered Peel Region and not the GTA, which only consists of North York, Scarborough, York, Etobicoke, Parkdale, and Lakeshore.
I was born and raised in Toronto though, and have family in Scarborough and North York.
Where do you currently live? Louisiana? Georgia? Atlanta?
It'd be pretty crazy if we could play. You also post a lot man, haha.

And right now, I'm in AL.
It all depends on if I have internet access. When I get up there, if someone'll let me use their laptop, I could tell you where we were.
