Hm I don´t think that won´t help me as a PAL user.

Btw
I think that Falcons Knee hitbox should be bigger. In Melee it was a lot easyer to hit the knee.

as much as i would like that, that's melee and this is b+. imo, falcon's good enough as he is. I'm just waiting for character specific hitstun.

I think that is offset by B+ Falcon being able to combo into Knee with his entire moveset. Even knee. lol

Dont uair for combo, its pretty stupid
Too much SideB approaches ... You have to set it up =)
Nair into Nair wont work either since its so easy to DI out of it
After a Nair at low % you should go for a knee and continue the combo from there / grab if they don't DI well
I'll keep that in mind. I randomly picked up Falcon after playing melee Falcon so there should always be mistakes. As for the side B, setting it up is kinda weird in brawl plus. In melee i tech chase but now the grabs send them up which is pretty weird.

I'll just stick to melee Falcon, lol.

uair is not bad for combos
Uair is horrible for combos if your opponent isn't braindead.

You can always (95-99%of the time) jump out / airdodge / attack falcon to break his combo if he does an uair.

For example if I try to combo Ganon by doing dthrow - nair - uair - knee, after the uair he can always nair you, or against bowser he just has to fair to break it.

The only time uair combos is against fastfallers that dont DI/DI toward you. And DIing away is stupidly easy so don't expect to find any.

...

I wasn't questioning the pkt skills, it's just how he did in those three matches. Dieing two times at low percents to the lasers, not trying to gimp with characters and against one that is super easy to do in most situations, etc.

yeah.

ehh I see what you mean. I wouldn't count the first match as his best. the lasers were completely unexpected lol. we just played too, believe it or not the match-up is hard. squirtles priority is hard to space so I rely on tech chasing/di chasing from grabs with uair. charizard is hard to pressure since he has a good amount of stage control/OOS options, and ivysaur pressures the hell out of me with dair>nair and can space me. but one wrong move and he's pretty much finished. :p

Dtilt>knee is good at higher percents, since the tilt doesn't hit them too far in the air...but the tilt itself is kinda slow compared to everything else.

I'm getting a lot better all of the sudden at hitting the knee, and that has improved my Falcon game a LOT. Did I also read somewhere that the kneebox is bigger in the nightlies right now? Practicing now with a smaller kneebox will make me 50 times better if this is true, and it sticks in the next plussery update!

Sex knee ftw

From what I've play with Falcon in Tournaments, I have less trouble with Squirtle and Charizard than I do with a Good Ivysaur. Squirtle is kinda floaty so he is Knee Food and Charizard is a Fat Kid (also Knee Food) Ivysaur has a better spacing game and if played right you just cant get in with Falcon.

Also Reverse Up Air Spiking is amazing with Falcon. I've gotten tired of all my friends saying the Knee is broken so I've resorted to not using it against them and Reverse U-air raeping them

Don't main as Falcon, but I might start someday. He's too fun to play as. U-air and b-air juggling off the stage and towards the boundaries to up-b is one of my favorite combos. B-air set-up to reverse falcon punch stage-spiking somebody is hilarious too (I think I've attempted this like 20 times and landed it twice). Stupid and risky, but it's awesome when it works XD I play waaaay too flashy with Falcon... which is why I shouldn't main as him.

Why would that be a reason not to?

It's like the perfect reason to main falcon!

The knee hitbox is currently huge and needs to be put back to normal size or lowered in damage and knockback.

I'd rather have a smaller hitbox with bigger damage though.

Is this on nightly updates? Because the on the last plussery update the knee seems like a somewhat small hitbox.

I main Luigi and G&W since the Luigi thread sucks, and I'm too fat and lazy to find the G&W one, I must congratulate you on this thread, as I second CAPTAIN FALCON

Played more Falcon tonight, and I've decided for sure to main him. I hope there haven't been many changes from 4.1B, because I really like him right now from that build. Nearly EVERYTHING combos into a knee, and the knee kills from the edge at less than 80%. It makes comebacks so much more feasible.

I did a few really nice looking combos, one in particular was on Smashville vs Zamus, starting on the left of the stage, me closest to the ledge, going toward the right. I think Zamus was at 20 to 30% at the beginning. Fsmash> dash attack (right when Zamus landed)> Uair (landed on the platform)> Knee for a KO. It was awesome.

Dthrow>Dthrow>knee>knee can drive them across the stage from really low percents. Dair>knee, Dthrow>knee, forward+B>knee, dash attack>knee, it all works and combos and can be killer at the edge of the stage at really low %'s.

people (who play against him) wont be happy with Fighting CF until he sucks like he did in vBrawl. Ive come to this conclusion. But honestly there haven't been that many changes with CF. D-air got a nipple spike (he needed that) and Knee hitbox got bigger. If you DI correctly it does kill nearly as effectively as it did in Melee. Brawl Captain Falcon was built for Hit Stun.

Flub box on knee trips (obviously when they are on the ground) you can Flub Knee > dash Attack > Knee.

Don't forget his Melee Nair <3
The fact that the hitbox's are out as long as his legs are is beautiful. It was so ******** how before you could hit them with his leg but have no hitbox out there because you were a frame too late.

... do you actually PLAY falcon?? and update your brawl+ regularly? Of course that combo can be dodged... u-air's won't connect from early %'s. Up air can give so much stun that you will find time on your hands to think of a move to use next... It feels silly explaining this, just play falcon more

He's so good I'm afraid he might get nerfed some before the gold release >.<

Even so, I'll probably still main him. I think I've got one hell of a feel for him.
