^This is the reason why I switched back to GC. Wiimote is horrible when I wanna play with CC :(

yeah Flayl's reason is why I haven't invested in buying that controller at all.

All of my friends have relayed that problem to me as well.

It's hard for me to get use to new controls. All you young bucks can adapt well, but I sure can't. The alcohol probably didn't help. But I just really don't like the Classic Controller. Part of my problem is that I can't even reach the two Z buttons.

I'm not even joking. I have really small, lady-like hands. So I lose a whole button with the CC compared to the GC.

And the forced wirelessness will keep the Smash off the MLG circuit, I'm sure.

I really wish Nintendo would wake up and realize that their fan base has aged in the past, what, three decades they've been making games? They can keep up the family friendly stuff, just branch out and make something intended for the more mature people, you know?

I have trouble imagining that Jay, are you grabbing the controller by the lower corners or something? Do you have the same problem with the CC pro (it has way better grip).

I had a lot of trouble adapting as well, the hardest part was maneuvering the control stick correctly. Since the stick is in a different location I would always swerve to the sides when I pressed up or down. After a month of little play (would've adapted in 2 weeks if I played regularly) I got it down.

For me it's not that hard putting the wiimote in a good position relative to the wii, so I don't really have the signal problem. It's probably a bigger deal at USA tournaments.

edit: Limit, is there a problem with your name change?

I asked the guy to change my name to Limit (because that's my name..lol) but apparently there's some dude here that has that name who hasn't made a post since January of 2008... :/

I said if that wasn't possible for him to change my name to Limit- or something like that.

I guess I just have to wait, I think I sent him the message on Saturday. It's no big rush, I'm just glad I was able to get it in the first place.

Yeah I don't see what the problem would be if the guy was inactive for four whole years at this point. But listen, that's not my decision really.

I'm fine with the Pro. It's built exactly like the PS3 controller with the ZR and ZL buttons taking the place of the R2 and L2 buttons, so no problems there. But I really wish I wasn't exaggerating with the old, wingless Classic Controller. I can reach the Z buttons, but only if I move my whole hand. And on the right side this leaves me unable to comfortably press all the face buttons.

And I didn't have a Pro controller as an option at the time, lol.

There we go.
Congrats-ish. Don't know why the couldn't just rename the inactive account and let you have Limit but it's an improvement.

Gotham City Impostors just looks ... meh. Why not just play TF2 (it's free) if you're interested in capture objective FPS?

Because people don't wear stupid hats in Gotham City Imposters.

But seriously, it's way more fun and most importantly, new, so you don't have to worry about try hards who've been playing the game for 4 years. :S

Glad you liked it! I found the 3D to add even more to what's already a movie masterpiece.

On another note, I'm getting moved into my apartment in Glendale, CA now. :)

Zigsta have you seen this short yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNd1YfqdC00&feature=related

It played before the movie, I haven't laughed that hard in a theatre in a long time. Me and my friend were dying at 1:40 we were making jokes about "THE KINGDOM IS LOST!" all night

Zigsta getting to play with great West Coast players = Zigsta, the successor to KingKong

Yeah, I know Texas has great players too, but experiencing competition from two different skilled regions will only make him even better.

Hype.

@Jay--I honestly think CA gets a bad rap for being weird. Depending on the area, CA is actually a really nice place. Where I live, there's TONS of nice places to eat and shop. I absolutely love it. Already got an invite to a sneak peek of Rock of Legends. :)

@Smiley--I have, and I totally love it!! Great shorts are challenging to make, but that short's just really well made. I love writing shorts with little to no dialogue involving animals, so that short was extra fun for me to watch!

@Tearbear--Awesome! I'll definitely hit them up. I'm really looking forward to playing with you guys. :)

@Uncle--I improved a lot just playing with the SoCal scene last summer. I'm stoked to further improve while living in my favorite city in the world. :)

Random question. Are there any animes that rival the awesomeness of Gurren Lagann (lol, spelled it right without having to look it up :) )? You know, in terms of how it's presented? As in, awesomely?

I'm making digital cinema packages, or DCPs for short, for the next 4 weeks.

DCPs are movie trailers in a digital form that are sent to theatres around the world that use digital projections (instead of the old-school film projector system).
