wait what about falco? i got 3 stocked twice because of chain grab on wifi.. for some reason it didnt let me jump when i was spiked. not till the last stock then i recovered and got spiked harder this is my most important question yet.. how do i do the falco mu???

Avoid the grab and stay at a distance until you get hurt about 40% from his lasers. Stay on platforms until then. Or if you do get grabbed, smash DI towards the stage. I'm not certain but I think you smash DI :stick7: and stick1:

Ban FD.
Be careful on the Smashville platform because it can extend CGs going the same direction it's moving. Stage choice is important. YI or Brin are good vs Falco.

Wolf has more recovery lag after being spiked than other characters.

You have the correct smash DI assuming that the stage is to your left. However, I'd like to add to hold :abutton: during the chaingrab before the d-air, in case the Falco tries to trick you so you don't accidentally f-air to your doom.

Holding A prevents that? If that's true then that makes me even less scared of Falcos now.

does holding A make a neutral air or something? does anyone ever wanna wifi and tell me whats wrong with my wolf play? i was just told i smash too much but i actually never smash unless im finishing a small combo or im killing.. what are wolfs best approach options since i only really fair through them.

Holding A during the CG makes sure that the c-stick input doesn't input an attack, but rather only the direction. It doesn't make you do any aerial.

What Chain Grabs is Wolf vulnerable to and until what %

Also what should you do if your on a platform DIRECTLY above your opponent?

I don't know the percents for everything, but I know he can be chain grabbed by:

Falco - 5 grabs if he grabs you at 0% He can do it walking or standing still.

Ice Climbers - Obvious. SoPo's Dthrow can chain grab him for a long time too.

D3 - Normal chain grab, or ledge infinite. The ledge infinite requires him to pummel in between Dthrows though, so you won't be infinited at low percent.

Lucario - Uthrow. We can shine out of it, but he can also predict the shine and shield grab us. So it's not a true chain grab. It's closer to a tech chase.

Marth - He can get in a few Fthrows on us. I think it can lead into a spike, I'm not certain.

Olimar - He can get in a few Dthrows on us.

Peach - She can get in a few Dthrows on us.

Pikachu - He can either Dthrow us or Fthrow us. He has to either pummel or Fthrow after the 4th Dthrow (I think) otherwise you can shine out of it. I forget how long it lasts. Somewhere around 100% or so?

Pit - He can get in a few Fthrows on us.

Wario - He can start a Dthrow chain grab on us starting at 60% that leads into death. I forgot if the wolfs found a way to escape before or after that percentage or not.





And that's it. However, Wolf can get Ftilt locked by Sheik from about 25% or so for quite a while which can lead into an Usmash. If you don't DI it, it'll be a tipper and will kill you. ZSS also has a Dsmash lock on wolf that I believe can either lead into death, or somewhere close.

Wario? Iunno. Wolf is an extremely mobile aerial character who kicks people in the face with his back aerial.

He's pretty unique.
