OK, so sometimes I like to use 'With Anyone' mode to kill some time, right? Sometimes it's OK, but sometimes it's bloody annoying.

OK, where should I start? There are WAY too many Ike players. Seriously, almost every fight has at least one Ike in it. Sometimes you even get fights with THREE other Ikes in it. And the majority of them are the scrubby Ikes that spam Eruption, Aether and FSmash over and over. You don't even get the pleasure of beating them, because they keep getting hit by each others' FSmashes... There are also too many Lucases that spam USmash...

And then there's the lag. Now, sometimes it's OK, but most of the time it's horrible. The match goes by like a snail going through treacle, and it takes a whole minute to get through the first 20 seconds of the match! This is extremely irritating when I'm trying to float with Peach.

Finally, there don't seem to be many good players on there. As stated above, a lot of the Ikes tend to be spammy. Other spammy characters include Kirby, Meta Knight, Captain Falcon and Ganondorf.

So yeah, in conclusion, With Anyone sucks.

When you see someone play Falcon, you can bet your darn *** it's a good player. I've never seen a scrub falcon that spams silly moves. The Ikes are silly but they aren't as terrible as they used to be. The casual stopped playing brawl, so you don't have too much to do with them. You shouldn't get enjoyment out of with anyone, anyway.

'With Anyone' is annoying at all times. FFAs can be fun at times if you're just goofing off. But factor in items, people that lack any basic understand of the game, and lag, and you have a game that just isn't going to be fun.

Even if you have good people, chances are, someone has items, a horrible stage like 75m, and Sonic.

The only Cpt. Falcon's I ever see on With Anyone never use anything other than Falcon Punch and Fair (and the occasional up B to recover)

Well that'd make a nice variation. All I ever seem to see is Final Destination, over and over and over again.

That's why whenever I play on With Anyone I'll just patiently wait outside an Ike's Fsmash or Lucas Usmash and then dashgrab to Fthrow to an easy Shuttle Loop gimp.

No one seems to DI that **** at all. It feels great playing as MK when I'm messing around.

Especially when I attempt to IDC through Final Smashes .

Yup. Dthrowing with MK on a FFA is a deathwish.

Even though Fthrow does less damage, it pops your opponent right above you so you can still have the possibility of a Shuttle Loop follow up for easy kills. Wait for the obvious airdodge, up B, and bask in the glory of getting a kill at under 40%.

The only reason for with anyone existing is so you can play Ganondorf and get as many dair spikes/utilts/warlock punches as possible in 2 minutes

You're missing the point of Basic Brawl; you should see it more as a colony of ants, with you being free to observe or disturb them as you will.

I can truthfully say that I have completely staled Warlock Punch in a match where all combatants were active and trying to win.

the purpose of with anyone for me is to 1: get epic kills with Falcon and 2: annoy people with sonic. And yeah, there's almost always an ike or lucas in with anyone.

I hate the team battles, when you are facing a GaW, and you have like a horrible Zelda/Lucas/Falco/etc. and they just spam their projectile, and GaW just keeps filling up the bucket and you die. And they are too stupid to stop with the projectile. >__________________> That annoys me the most.

Captain Falcon and Ganondorf are the only ways to go in With Anyone. It's not worth giving it all you've got when you can win with a few well-placed but predictable and slow attacks >_>

My best moment in a FFA was playing as Captain Falcon on FD. All three of my opponents were off-stage, one hanging on the ledge, two recovering. I jumped off the stage and used a Falcon Punch, reversing it so it would hit the guy hanging onto the ledge. Just as I counted on, the other two recovered right into the Pawnch and the three of them got stage spiked. I then quickly Falcon Kyicked to my own death to add to the epicness of the moment.

Of course I spammed "Show me ya moves" for the remainder of the match, and except for a few accidental items or projectiles sent my way, all of my opponents surprisingly let me do it. Good times.

Just some problems I have "With Anyone". I find that whenever I try to do a basic team battle no one ever ends up joining.

In Basic Brawl I hate how they put CPU's, I hate the constant waiting and how they make battles only 2 minutes long.

And for some reason I never seem to do well in Basic Brawl xD

Finding a good player is as rare as finding 20 bucks on the ground. Rare, but it's possible. I used to think Zamus sucked (a few months ago) until I faced one pulling off some crazy stuff.

You can be racking up damage lick crazy, but one scrubby Snake Fsmashes to steal your kill.

I play Ganon more than my mains online. My strategy is completely different. Camp --> steal kills --> stall --> taunt --> win

I team up with people who spam taunts since that's one less person to deal with and outnumbers the enemy. Besides, it's an online FFA against scrubs who get lucky. I don't take it seriously. I mess with people by Swallowciding. It's hilarious when I just spit them under the stage and they make a pathetic attempt to recover.

Oh yeah, and if someone really wants me dead, I just dair them and then footstool them for instant kill.

Uhh... It's where you go to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and you click With Anyone, as opposed to With Friends. It's split into Basic Brawl and Team Battle.

But hell yes, With Anyone can be annoying. When there isn't an forward-smash spamming Ike or (god forbid) an up-smash spamming Lucas etc., you'll get a sad stage (sometimes almost always over and over and (repeat until voice is deemed too hoarse)) or a ton of items that will conveniently land next to your opponent.

Oh, and unresponsives. People who stand still cos' they've gone to go get a drink or something. It's bad enough in Basic Brawl, where you can stop other players from getting cheap KOs, but in Team Battle...

In basic team battle your partner is either really stupid or they might know what they are doing, Basic brawl is all taunt spamming or beating up on the serious people.
