i thought peach's upsmash was bad, until i saw macD use it.
then I realized i'm just bad with peach's upsmash.

same goes for forward smash.
it's like falcon's fsmash, brings her midriff back. Often works amazing in certain situations, ex: edgeguards

If you're Ryoko, you could cheat with it.

I've seen Ryoko use fsmash to avoid grabs and then knock people off with fsmash before.

Pretty funny stuff.

If you get the golf club btw you can fsmash under YS platforms and hit people on the platform haha.

It's not a good move because you can't pick which one you get.

It would be ridiculous and amazing if you could but you can't. You're going to get the club when you really want the pan, you're going to get the pan when you need the racket, and you're going to get the racket when you need anything but the racket and it will suck.

I mean, it's still disjointed leanback so it's not THAT bad. But the fact that you will be inconvenienced by its random nature frequently makes it an unfavorable choice.

ya its not bad, good for mindgames, good range, pan can start combos. its just not a tool used to kill. thats what dsmash is used for

cping you to Mute at a MDZ tourney
Local MA players make fun of me b/c I think dsmash isn't a kill move. I think Fsmash is more of a spacing tool. DoH told me to use it in peach dittos and that's been great advice for me. I've began to use it in other matchups vs people who have no disjointed hitbox.

Also wife uses it vs Spacie's up b a lot.

Peach's fair -> F smash (on a shield) is good to not get shield grabbed + start combos

@ Armada - you know when Fox is spacing a bair on your shield near the edge, you should wavedash back out of shield into down tilt. That leads to a free chain grab or down smash (or charged up smash). I think you should do that more

M2k: I will definitely do that =).

I have never see someone wd out form shield pressure (but you have talk about it) but that sounds really good =).

Peach's nair out of shield is 7 frames, same as grab

but you start moving from a wavedash as soon as frame 5, so that little bit could make a difference if you know what style of shield pressure they use. It is especially good with Sheik to evade Falco's shield pressure. I don't know how effective it is with Peach.

I wonder if you got this from any Socal peaches (TP5)

I only say this because I see MacD use dtilt to outspace Fox bairs all the time when otherwise he would normally get hit

plus connor and macd spam dtilt to charged upsmash even when it's not good lol (but that's just friendlies)

Fwiw, I also think Peach's Fsmash is a good move, although I don't main her or anything, but it definitely has its uses

Lol upsmash edgeguard on Sheik is pretty lame, but it's okay cause I still have the advantage on that stage so I'll accept it.

I use it when people mess up their spacing when trying to get you into a juggle (gentleman etc). Actually works quite well for me.

Light has infuriated me time and time again with f-smash

I don't remember how since I haven't played with him since dinosaurs roamed the Earth, but just you wait. I WILL be back here to bitch about it when he comes back to AZ in the Winter.
