Well remember Javi also beat Lovage. I could never put Lovage above Javi because I simply don't think Lovage is capable of beating anyone who Javi can't beat. Lovage can't beat Dr.Peepee but Javi can. Just the same I can't see Javi loosing to a player like Bladewise(no offense) like Lovage did this past weekend either.As a fox player Javi is just kind of a better version of Lovage.

Kirbykaze may very well be a better play than Javi, so I won't argue against him.

I used to think so but after Smashers Reunion, I no longer have any expectations for him to accomplish anything special.

I was so excited for him in that tourney, I agree that he really dropped the ball in terms of making a statment

Javi was nervous and jetlagged in the crew battle, i bet Javi can beat Jman the next time.

Same with lovage, in their first battle Javi had lots of mistakes, same vs Cactuar, but then he BEAT lovage in LB.

Instead what I will say is that crews don't mean anything. I believe we saw Axe 3 stock KirbyKaze's Sheik or something and any sensible person will tell you that KK >> Axe these days. You're also crazy if you still think Captain Jack is better than Hax. Crews don't mean anything, Javi losing to Jman is irrelevant.

Yeah I've said before that Ice has the potential to make Marth relevant again. I haven't seen a Marth that slick in a while. He just reaallllyyy needs to perform well in tournament.

I like PewPewU better, but I don't think either Ice or PPU will become the next "top player." I think westballz could though.

And after both Nyte and Rule 6, I've lost any expectations for WestBallz. Pewpewu, probably has a better chance than ice at this point.

on the subject of javi: he's a great player, for sure, but I don't think he's on m2k's level. He had a great run at Apex, but I'm not sure if he can do that consistently. I think Javi is top 10, but he's not top 5. Kirbykaze is better than him. As is wobbles. and probably Lovage as well.
Saying "Javi is a better version of lovage" is untrue and, frankly, a little insulting to Lovage. Javi doesn't really play like lovage.. they have different styles of fox. I also don't think that Javi is better than Lovage... you can't say "Javi is better because he beats Dr.PeePee and Hax" because Javi has only done that once... he hasn't proven that he can consistently beat top level players. I think he is definitely good though.

I'd probably say Thorn. He Reminds me alot of old Dr.PP. His set with Mew2king was very similar to Mew2King vs PP at tipped off 5 a few years ago. If he keeps accelerating at this rate I think he'll be near or at the top of the falco heaps soon enough.

I think S2J has alot of potential as well. Shroomed I already consider one of the best players out there considering he can place top 5 with Doc.

Consider who I lose to/beat at those events.

APEX 2010: Beat Mango (hungover-*** mango) SilentWolf, Shiz, lost to M2K and PP. 5th
G2: Defeated SS, Lucien, lost to HBox and Shroomed. 9th
APEX 2012: Unknown, Darc, M2K, lost to PP and HBox. 9th

So... yeah.

Your counter-argument, in advance, is going to probably be: KK has beaten HBox, Javi beat PP, Shroomed beat PP, and (obv) Shroomed beat me. Well, I know jack about the Doc matchup but Shroomed lives in the same state as like, 3 other ICs. KK was bodied that same tournament by HBox in Loser's. And I've got more wins over M2K than both KK and Shroomed do (two whole wins oh boy that says a lot). Before you say, "lol M2K is bad against ICs," remember he beat Chu recently.

So I'm not sure why you think I'm so far removed from this group of players.
