If Mew2King and Dylan Tnga are examples of Melee tournament players, then I'd rather be a scrub. Either way, I'm getting Brawl and shall attempt to become a grandmaster of it. Of course, I will likely fall to great Melee players who've switched to Brawl, but hey, you don't become a grandmaster in a game overnight! Either way, if you are truely worried about speed, why don't you train yourself to play as Sonic? He's the fastest character in Brawl and sounds like a decent character to play as. Considering most scrubs have to WALK with him to even have a bit of control, a good Sonic master should own. Either way, you two have Melee to play, whereas I and 7 million others will buy Brawl and like it. I don't want a second delay because you liked a particular move that accidently got the axe for the aerial game. Besides, the team making Brawl logged in so many hours in Melee that they probably KNEW of the Wavedash and agreed that the improvement that the aerial game gets is more important than keeping the wavedash. Personally I would like to think that like L-Canceling, the designers merely improved the Wavedash by connecting it with movement instead of air-dodging.
