Thanks for the advice guys!

Bair beats glide attack? I'll have to remember that one!

Yeah, but that's much less awkward/entertaining.

On the practical side, using bair gives you a nice boost backwards. If you're facing the other way, it pushes you into them more. Which is good if they're trying to go straight down after using glide attack.

Bair is better for it though since fair is more SDIable and you can get punished for it.

Yeah, his controller wasn't working as well as it should have. But I still did better against him than he had ever seen me do lol. I wasn't doing the things I usually did that he punished me heavily for.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flN77I3_aQs&feature=feedu me vs. pwneroni match 1. Can't believe I dropped the cg >.<

match 2 vs. pwneroni http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXRVLqvAf6o&feature=feedu I went snake. Trying to pick snake up in general haha. He's bad. This is losers finals, it went to game 5, the last vids should be up soon.

my last match recorded against viviff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wx5VX37CWNw&feature=feedu

I was going to make a post on the general ineptitude of the mk. But then I decided not to. But then you did. So. I'll agree. But there was far more than that which the mk did wrong.

Make your trolls more clever btw. I enjoy laughing at them, not just feeling agreement. But good work.

I consider this post to be less spammy than 80% of posts in this thread as it actually critiques someone at something.

LOL the callout.

But seriously Brick, you have to admit that mk doesn't really know the matchup.. At all. Granted I'm from a region that had to deal with Anther week in and week out for years. Maybe my perception is skewed.

Not to take anything away from getting 2nd. That is solid.

Well, the thing is, he does know the match up VERY well. He was A. playing badly, and B. I was playing completely different. I wasn't doing ANY of my bad habits that he usually ***** me for (spot dodging a **** ton, among other things). He just didn't adapt fast enough. He knows the mu lol XD

Also he played ****ty ._.

Well at least you identified the habits and didn't fall back which is a great step towards making improvements and stuff.

Still, the MK looked clueless as to what to do.

Sorry Brick but Viviff does not know the matchup.

Also work on your recovery. You don't always have to double jump.

I mean I could probably take second in tourney if my opponent gave me all the kills lol.

On a serious note dont land with fair on his shield so much, you were almost always punished for it.

Count the amount of times he punishes me, look at the damage it gives me, then vs. that against the amount of times it worked, and how much damage that gave him.

He wasn't used to that because I almost NEVER do it. Like I said, I was trying to change up everything I was doing so he wouldn't punish me for all my habits.

Yes landing with fair isn't a good idea NORMALLY, but if your opponent expects something else, then you can capitalize with it.

Brick, if you use that logic you are going to get your **** kicked in when you play a higher level player (One with a working controller that knows how to punish). Yes it CAN work, but is the risk worth it? Against Viviff, maybe, but against any other decent MK? Not really...

Lol @ you thinking you were anywhere close to the best Pikachu. It is quite humorous in fact.

You are about as good as I thought you are.

On a scale of 1-10, you are about a 6.

I'm a 9.5, the canadian pika (I don't remember names...which sucks) is a 7.5, Miquel is a 7, Prime is a 6.5, and everybody else that has a name is basically a 6.
