Very nice stuff by Earl and Attila.
I believe I played too aggressively in our 2nd set
Attila, I should have done much better. Your risk taking ability is far greater than everyone elses though, and that random ... Uair i think it was? ... on Frigate Orpheon... I did not expect that. I started playing better just then and may have won the final match but, that was too good. I just needed to camp more the 2nd set, that is all I did wrong, and also I should have been UpBing out of your DACUS so I didn't get hit by the explosion, I got too cocky and underestimated your character.
Earl, close games, incredibly close... I always like a set where the difference between who won could actually have been decided by the game, not the players inputs... for example, if that 6 had been a 9
I need to improve by finding a replacement by Bair and by never letting you pressure me into Bairing your sheild. On your part, I believe perhaps you give me too much freedom by being too careful, and I believe like Attila you could incorporate unexpected, risky moves that work into your game, however that may undermine your careful play, which is much more careful than Attila's and therefore it's very hard to get an opening. Mad props to you two.
I'm happy; Close games with Earl, beat Attila in a set, then lost the next one which I think averages out to Close games
And put some effort into this game and Ledge is pretty easy again.
Pity Tibs wasn't there, would have enjoyed some close games with him and I think I will learn Diddy Kong. Now that Melbourne is getting better as a whole, I'm inspired to use another character, lol.
Conor: you are actually far better as a player now, although I don't think you've had much practice, but something someone said to you made you better perhaps... But yes you play solidly now, and It is no longer a walk in the park for me to force you to play aggressively. Next time we meet in tournament, I hope this is the same.
Also, could you please link the future results to tournaments in the OP coz it's good for viewing and I need it for the GaW boards. I'm not sure if you posted the bracket for the last tournament to be honest, but if you haven't, then when you post THESE results, could you also post the ones from the previous tournament please thankyou
Nicks: you are fantastic with Wario. I believe you should be on the crew, although some people are still naive and will assume that because Ted uses Wario NSW will destroy you... I disagree though, this may weaken you against NSW but you still are one of the more capable players in VIC. Please keep up the camping play with Wario, forcing the mistake, it is impressive.
Afropony: You are still agressive as a player. I use GaW, where with MK all you have to do is play aggressive and you will win. You still have to be a good player, but there is not much effort in MK making the match up in his favour. When you play other players you don't play all that differently, and for this you lose, to MU's just as much in your favour as GaW, except more effort needs to be put in to make it that way.
Toshiba: I wish I watched your matches vs Meteor. I hope you place well, 7th Is my guess? There were a lot of good players and that is an impressive result. I will enjoy teaming with you and I hope I can learn about Diddy Kong by teaming with you for the next couple of tournaments. I hope we are succesful doubles team, I can see good things coming from me teaming with a Diddy
Meteor: It was a surprise that you came. Good to see you although I should have made more of it and got some more friendlies in, but I am really intrigued by the players from my own state at the moment. Your MK is better than it once was, It probably is better than Garys, at least I thought it was a bit more intelligent of an MK. Your Ness is still impressive. Your Sonic really is terrible though.
Dean: Your Marth is still very impressive, although not at the same level as Earls you are probably one of the harder players for me to beat, although I think I'll call in the johns for this one and say the MU is pretty hard lol. Was good to play you, I'll see you round like a donut.
Joey: lots of good moments this tourney! Nice victory dance after my win against Attila
thanks for shouting me at Lentil as Anything
Khoa: <3 I'll see you today!
Vermy: You don't play smash at all anymore
makes me sad. Good news though, I have my SOUNDWAVE tickets now :D I'll see you there
In Melee I am quite impressed with my improvement, although everyone I played sandbagged against me and I still lost. I can L cancel consistantly now and I can wavedash to the right. Still can't wavedash to the left that **** is hard. My tactics as a player don't get mixed up enough because I don't know enough about my options, and within one set I get learnt very easily.
