I have a question. Does anyone ever record brawl matches and then post them on youtube? because i am trying to do this but i cant seem to get my sound to work, no matter how many drivers i download, how much i configure the sound settings on my computer and the actual capture device. nothing works!!!

I bought an easycap dc60+ device. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/26085625...NX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_6009wt_905 i got the display turning up on both the computer and the tv but the audio on the computer screen is horrible.

that is how the video turned out, the picture is fine, but the audio is horrible.

I have given up and come to the conclusion that my easycap is a fake i bought off ebay! >.<

Can anyone recommend a video capture device that works well for them?

i use the same usb jerome, ezcap dc60+

use virtualdub to record. can muck around with video compression to keep filesize down but i wouldn't touch audio.
make sure you select ntsc433 from video capture filter... or whatever works lol, try that first though.
remember that in virtualdub you probs won't hear sound in the preview and while you are recording, the only way to check is to play the video file after you have finished recording.

go into recording devices, then select the dc60+, then go properties, advanced, and try changing the sample rate to cd quality or dvd quality. yes, somehow this works lol.

okay ive got everything working but the sound still isnt right, when i play a 20 second video, the audio is way too fast, it takes 5 seconds to complete. how do i get the audio in sync with the video...? also, what version of virtualdub are you using?

i usually use the latest version... whatever that is
sounds like the problem isn't with the capture card anyway
make sure the computer you're using to record has all the latest sound drivers installed, all the usual ****

its different with me.... i searched those results and all that came up with was fast video and audio. i just have fast audio. i doubt i would need to update my sound drivers. i just checked all the drivers under 'computer management' windows says all sound drivers are up to date.

tried that. installed it, got the new media players n everything. even restarted the computer just to make sure. still get the same choppy sound. i have never had a problem with any sound of any video or music file.

my only option left is to try it on dads computer (although he will probably kill me) if it doesnt work on his, i'll just get it replaced.

i dont think sound is a terribly big issue for brawl videos anyway

but it's understandable if you want to get the sounds for the attacks and stuff so it's easier to watch

basically what im saying is, it's probably still worth uploading even if you can't get the sound working in the end.

I randomly have the same problem as you jezza but I think it's different with me as I record straight off the TV with a camera and it doesn't affect every video... so I just record it again :/

i asked m2k what's happening in usa regarding the mk ban. he told me that basically half of america is banning him and half isn't.

my impression is that Japan ISNT banning mk and europe also thinks its a joke.

so most of the world MAY NOT be banning mk.

unfortunetly the TO's here seem to think mk is breaking the game. interestingly, just recently FOW ness defeated tyrant + tearbears mk's and won a socal tourney. esams pika defeated m2k mk recently. more evidence that MK is VERY BEATABLE and some characters have UNTAPPED potential if people are patient enough.
