Lol luke, What I said isn't a stupid claim. A person who doesn't invest everything into one person and doesn't care whether or not they get that one person isn't going to lose their confidence if they get rejected.

What I said Isn't implying that anyone who gets rejected is ALWAYS going to be upset by it. Hell I know people that try 15 times in a club before they get ONE interest and they don't give a ****. I also know others that get so hung up over a girl and get rejected and just find another girl to get equally hung up over a couple of months later.

But you never see someone that has 5 girls get crushed because one said no, they just go on to one of the other 4.

I don't see how that's an irrational statement?


The question about how she would feel is whether or not she likes vermy equally. I dunno, sometimes you don't seem to worry until you're involved with the person. My current girlfriend went on dates with other guys while i was trying to get her but it didn't bother me, and now we are whipped over eachother.

well first up it was just the way you said it as if everyone who did that would just lose confidence and burn out, you just put a stereotype out there and implyed that EVERYONE who falls into that would behave exactly the way you said they would, which they wouldnt.

anyways, I cant really think of a good way to put this into words but if you like/love/crushon/whatever 4 girls at once, you dont like/love/crushon/whatever them at all.

a. in love with the idea of being in love
b. just want to stuff around and have sex
c. hoplessly insecure
d. something else, dunno.


point is, you can keep your options open and **** around sure, and I'm not saying that theres anything particully wrong with that, but thats not really the kind of behaviour or attitude someone trying to get into a meaningful relationship should have (neither is it the kind of attitude most girls wanting a relationship would be looking for)

thats my take on it anyways, to give an example, if vermy really does like 4 (which all his posts strongly suggest he does) then he shouldnt be intrested or paying any attention to the other 3 (espcially number 3 because shes a **** sandwhich) otherwise how can he honestly claim that he really likes her, and he may not be lying to her directly, but if he was stuffing around with other girls while they have a 'I like you, and you like me, when I get back lets get together' that would be deceitful to her (unless of course she knew all about it)

I guess it just comes down to how people consider being involved with someone. I understand what you're saying and to some / most points I agree, I'm the kind of person that does focus on one person if I like them.

But on the flip side, it's not unusual (especially in the gay community for some reason) for people to be "Romantically involved" with each other but be in an "open relationship" where they both sleep with other people and both are aware that they are doing so. They just stay together because they are emotionally attached to each other, and somehow actually like eachother. I know it might sound weird or ******** but there are plenty of people like that.

So yeah I guess it just comes down to the individual.

Here's the scoop with Vermy's harem.

Told #1 she's a narcissistic seven headed hydra with a large piece of sh** where her heart should be. No angry sex was had, she just yelled. I told her she needs to get laid and hung up.

Cancelled plans with #2, said I was tired from work (which I am) and that I'd call her later. I might, and I'll clarify I'm not interested.

Closed the doors on #3, told her if she didn't stop with the cheating wh**e sh** that I'd have a chat with her boyfriend about what she'd been saying to me.

Told #4 that I'm crazy about her and that even though we're not technically a couple, I want to be exclusive. She reciprocated the same. For the last 3 nights we've been doing somethin we call "web cam date night". We both obtain episodes of a show or a movie, put our web cams on and hit play at the same time. It makes us have the same eye contact and conversation as if she were actually in my room. Not as good as the real thing, but it helps the long distance and it'll keep us close until she gets home. =) Tickets to Japan are cheap atm, I migh head up there for a weekend.... Thanks Nova, but painkillers do next to nothing to me. Hell, it takes 14 glasses of Vermycide (1/3 Vodka, 2/3 Schweppes Agrum with a squirt of lemon juice) and 2 joints to get me wasted. I was packed with meds as a child, so they do almost nothing now. I'm just a tough kent I guess.
