I actually thought it was funny VA because back close to when I started, I had apparently asked a dumb question on here, and some of the Peach players were being kind of elitist about it, even though I was pretty much a noob, and you actually sent me a message telling me not to worry about that sort of attitude and stuff.

Hahaha, but honestly I don't tend to discuss much smash on smashboards... doesn't seem like a good place lol. I usually will talk on FB about Smash if people really want to, so skipping my posts is pretty much fine. They tend to be pretty insubstantial anyways. (Except I really did want to know if G3nesis being a week after Evo was better from an international player's perspective haha).

Regarding the up throw stuff:
a) you should be able to get stuff done before they put up shield. They have to go through their whole tech animation after all
b) dair isn't too hot on shield if you don't go for float > dair > nair > drop float shenanigans
c) if you think you're going to be too slow, but are sure that they'll try to shield you can just land next to them and grab them. For most people the assumption that they'll aim to get their shield up after a tech on a platform is a pretty safe bet, especially if you usually jump at them with a aerial.
d) most Peaches go for uair in the techchase on a platform above them situation.
e) dthrow is decent if you're looking for some easier regrab from a techchase. Especially if you've gotten the grab facing towards the edge so their tech roll away doesn't go the full distance (in which case it's pretty feasible to react to everything).

u had asked abt usmash being an edgeguard for fox i think. i actually used that vs leffen and it worked. i swear at sum angles it covers erything.

I wasn't saying I was the best, or that anyone should think of me as such. It's just that whatever meaning such a title held has lost a lot of its luster. I admit that it was a pretty pessimistic thing to say though, just a reaction to the news.
