Could someone please critique my gameplay over here? I also struggle a lot against campy spacies (especially laser camping fox on PS and platform camping the top platform with either of them seem to be a big problems for me) and would like to get that fixed before the next big tourney so if anyone could share their views on how to handle with those issues, I would be really grateful.

Edit: Thanks for the help

My thoughts

Peach is the anti-Falco of this game. It's like she's designed to counter Falco

Peach is so easy to be consistent with. You can never make a mistake with her, so you'll always be ready to dish any punishment. Fox and Falco are so sensitive to mistakes. As soon as they make 1, you'll be like gimps and comboes

And Fox is not a problem. If his upsmash was PAL, this matchup would be even (America needs to convert to PAL). Up smash is his only threat

Against Fox, it seems like you're not responding well enough to the way he's trying to move around you. Fox example, you would FC fair > jab, without waiting to see if he was going to try to punish you for the fair (0:12). He knew this, jumped over the jab, and baired you. At 0:23, you FC fair very low, and he jumps over it. You immediately try to chase him with a dash attack, and get comboed. What you should be asking yourself once he jumps over you is, "Can I hit him from where I am, or no?" If no, just reposition yourself. It's easy to get into the habit of throwing moves out for Fox to run into, but it's not that easy. It's more about intercepting his movement, and to do that, you have to react to it.

0:32 You did the fair > double jab again. He was far enough away to where you didn't need to double jab in anticipation of him running in, but he was also too far away to punish. You should take very careful note of how your opponent is spacing/moving at all times, so that you can adequately react to them with the proper move, rather than just throwing something out.

You seem to have some tech skill slipups, like rolling in really weird spots, or random ftilts, and your movement just isn't smooth, really. That might be something you should look into working on.

If this is unclear, let me know. I'm a bit sleepy.

Heart: Yeah, Fox's only threat is upsmash. His bair, utilt, shine, uair, nair....those are nothing to be wary of.

The only rope I will give you is that Peach does in fact soft counter Falco (in my opinion).

hey guys, im a new peach main. i switched from ic's after taking a break and noticed an immediate shift in my results
I have this 1 video of me that was at a small casual tourney. i make some pretty big mistakes but i had only practiced peach for about a week before maybe an hour every day
http://youtu.be/xk2E21lbLfs
if i could get some critiques on general strategy and less on tech flaws and stupid aggro dash attk and dsmash spam that would be nice.
also i realized that i disregarded the float and fair almost entirely, anyways i hope someone at least enjoys watching this(mad combos lol)

pull turnips more
Don't dj and float immediately after being hit, that gives you zero options if you get hit again after that.
Try using dtilt and usmash more to shut down his approaches
Get more FC pressure srings, learn more turnip tricks (throw, jump at them, catch, then z drop or throw it again.)
Practice your CG a bit more, and use nair more often, particularly to edgeguard (you use fair waaay too much for this and miss because of it)
Get some jab reset set-ups into your repertoire.
Learn how to low nair/bair fc OoS
Use turnips more, seriously.

Just going from the first two matches, anyway. Since you're in FL, there are probably some good Foxes you can play vs. Hunt them down and start asking them for advice/what pisses them off most when they fight Peach, and start doing it.

umm peach doesn't counter falco...
I dunno. In a metagame where his lasers seem to be the dominant factor concerning him, being able to just float over them and death combo him seems really strong. But I'm not 100% sure, and I only think she might be a soft counter to him (similar to Puff).

Theory perfectly, Falco wins if he doesn't ever make 1 mistake. Human any level, it's even. Peach works so well against Falco because Falco has only 1 major threat against her: dair. But even dair has holes. It's easy to get out of shield pressure against players who don't ever mix up with late dairs. Then there's floats as you mentioned[collapse="Falco's blind spot"]
[/collapse]What can Falco do to attack a high float? If you read an interception, you've got a nair protecting you that will always trade or win. Then there's the down smash to mention. Falco's weight and falling speed make him very likely to get multi-hit which is massive damage, especially for 1 move. And it sends opponents backwards. Gimps anyone? I should also mention b throw and her arsenal of tools that hopelessly stop him from ever getting back on. Falco is a slow runner. Peach likes that

I'll be looking for that set, DoH. :)
My home's upload speed is pathetic Mb/s. They should be up by morning

If he decides to uair/bair from under you, your nair won't protect you. It protects the space around her arms and torso (everything under her wait, as well as her head, are vulnerable). So he can punish it, but it's kind of easy to call with retreating fair, or to just avoid completely.

Everyone needs to just stop doing shield pressure on Peach, and just grab her. It's so much better.

That's why I fast fall it; to get under or level with Falco if he tries the interception. I fast fall almost everything I aerial. When I don't, I'm baiting a response

yes

Thank you Based Mimi.
Yeah I think Falco/Peach is even except on like FD, RC, or Brinstar.

Also, I agree with the pressuring comment. I always joke, and say that Peach's shield is just a counter. If people just grabbed her more...

Heart, the ending to the first game vs Bones in that pride match thing was hilarious.

Nice. I'm going to watch it in a little bit.

Also, Heart/Epsilon (what should I call you?), What the heck is your sig? haha Peach is the most janky character. A set involving a Peach will have you saying, "WHAT?" or "REALLY?" more than like any other character. That's why I like Peach dittos on Mute. Such a fun character. I think it was Tai that said something like, "the game cheats for Peach." :p

Either name works. I think ♥ describes a lot about me. I like my name written like that (Alt+Numpad3)

My sig is so awesome, isn't it? Peach is character of random awesome. This 1 time, I was playing against a Fox in a friendly on Pokemon Stadium, and I did a down smash > ftilt > down Smash combo on him for 99% damage

Wow DoH, that was a really good set. I especially loved the last 2 games. That last kill on the 4th game with the uair when he tried to shine spike you made me lauge. You have some hilarious turnip shenanigans, too ahaha.

haha nice. I usually try to fair/nair them for the stage spike, but the uair was pretty sweet too.

Also, I'm definitely stealing some of that turnip stuff.

Turnip traps I learned from Xelic.

Also I think you can see how effective they are at controlling a fast Fox, as opposed to how Paju just tries to outzone them.
