Mallow is a far more interesting character than Geno in design and personality, plus he's got much more move potential than Geno.

Mallow controlls the weather, fights with a staff and symbols, and can seperate the top half of his body from the second. That's far more unique than just a guy that shoots things out of his hand.

I don’t need Waluigi in Smash to live, but I admit that sometimes it feels weird to see Ultimate’s roster featuring each one of the brothers from the Mario series playable but with Waluigi missing.

While it would be cool to see him sharing roster with the Mario characters already added to the roster, I honestly don’t mind him as an assist trophy at the moment.

The son idiolizes a loser, his servents are extemely incompetent, and the only thing he uses these latter 3 things for is kidnapping Peach and forcing her to marry her, oppress innocent nations, and keeping Mario at bay.

The fact that Peach despises him is a problem he belives he can fix and Mario beating him up is just a minor setback.

That doesnt make him any less of a power hungry loser and these "minor setbacks" are consant beatdowns that have repeated itself for over 30 years.

Not too mention Bowser is an irresponsible and unintentional abusive father. If he can't beat his arch nemesis, what gives him the bright idea to let his underage son battle him?

Bowser is both a winner and a loser depending on how much you can divide between his success and failures. Bowser could easily become more of a winner, steps ahead of Mario if he just moved on from Peach. Trust me, dudes. You'd all miss (Classic) Bowser if he became smarter.

My point still stands and it's far more than Waluigi, or for that matter most videogame villains, have going for them.

You first point is basically just you repeating "he's a loser because he's a loser." His son loves him. He loves his son. Major point in his favor.

His servants are incompetent? ... Some of them. But he's got an army of them. He can afford to have a bunch of losers because they're easily replacable. It's more of a quantity of quality thing with him.

As for him only using multiple castles, fortunes, and his kindom in geral to only capture Peach, oppress other nations, and keep Mario at bay ... that's exactly what he WANTS to use them for. If he's using what he has in exactly the way he wants to use it, how does that make him a loser?

I also think Geno is weirdly overhyped, but then, I didn't like Mario RPG. There was too much Square in it. Loved Paper Mario, though.

I would say he's more the comic relief of Mario games than just a loser. His lanky design and high pitched voice seem to imply that they want him to be funny in a similar way to how Luigi is awkward.

Put Waluigi in. Put Captain Toad in. Put Toadette in. Put Paper Mario in. Heck; put Pauline, Nabbit, E.Gadd, King Boo, Fawful and yeah, Geno and Mallow in. Heck, I wouldn't be sad if we got a few more iconic minions in such as Koopa Troopa, Boo or Goomba...although preferably after the likes of Toad and Waluigi at the very least make it, thank you.

No Baby or metal versions though. That's a step too far Nintendo. I'm watching you with your Dr. inclusions too...

I'll admit I have some concerns about Paper Mario which kills excitement for him compared to the more traditional Mario cast.
There's no reason to think he should play like Mario/Luigi/Doc but I also can see them not taking full advantage of his paper abilities.

If he does get in, I'm more excited for a theatre based stage than the character.

My most wanted 1st party character is actually Slippy with Peppy as a potential echo (since they both share a similar body type and skillset.) Having the full star fox team is probably gratuitous, especially since we already have Wolf, but I’d love to have these guys since they’re such colorful characters.

I imagine them as a heavier, trapper version of the Spacie. They could be slower but still have a high jump height (because they’re a frog and a rabbit), and rely more on tech, such as summoning the sentry gun from Star Fox guard or maybe their recovery could be the “barrel roll” which doesn’t do damage like Fire Fox but instead has a reflector quality for its duration.

A lot of people would see them as joke characters, but they’re still Nintendo icons in my eyes and think they would be fun to play as.

Yes, E. Gadd! Should have been in Mario Kart instead of Skelerex (the dead Koopa), and would make a good Smasher.

The Mario character I would be the most excited about is probably King Boo. Waluigi to me is like "if it happens, great, if not, I won't lose sleep over it." But Boos are my favorite Mario enemy and I feel like the Luigi's Mansion series is established enough at this point that King Boo merits at least consideration.

I don't think Mario needs an overload of characters either. It's fine where it is. I think any series getting more than two unique newcomers at a time is excessive; not every character under the sun that's recognizable needs to be in Smash. Otherwise half of the cast would be Mario. I'm fine with it getting a newcomer or two every game, but there's no need for things besides that.

My Mario hierarchy would probably be like...

1. King Boo
2. Waluigi
3. Geno/Mallow
4. Captain Toad
5. Paper Mario
6. Fawful
7. The rest

Never really got the hype around Geno - I'll admit I never played his game and I still agree he looks cool, but not sure why a one-off character got such a following among the Smash speculation community. Not to rag on one offs, as my most wanted also falls into that category (sort of), but I wouldn't expect most of them to be treated the same as main protagonists or recurring villains when it comes to speculation

That was a while ago. My opinion has changed.
I've also stated before that I feel like the best "hypothetical" Smash would have as many characters as possible. I should have mentioned that since that was the point my post was based on. "If Smash were to ever have as many characters as possible, that should include the Phantom Thieves of Hearts."

There's lots they COULD do, but this is Nintendo. He'll have a whole moveset based on nothing but Sticker Star and maybe a TTYD taunt.
