You know, Katalina is likely not coming to Smash, but I'm thankful she came up, because now I have tons of great Granblue music to listen to that I'd never have bothered to look for otherwise.

Also Tsutomu Narita is responsible for most of the soundtrack, Uematsu has contributed like 25% of the music in Granblue. It's a nitpick but I'm a music nut and I like seeing composers credited.

Me: Lol fanfiction is so stupid and cringey. Why would anyone ever choose to read it? I'd much rather find a new game or show to watch.

This is another reason why I love Smash...

It introduces me to a whole library of soundtracks from a bunch of different game series...

I've never played Persona 5 or any Persona game for that matter, but after Joker got announced, I've gotten hooked on songs like Life Will Change and Last Surprise, ever since. If weren't for Smash, I probably would have never found these amazing songs

One Smash Bros fanfiction idea I once had was a comedy/mystery where the villain would turn out to be Pichu, who wanted for revenge after being ridiculed for so long.

Funny how competitive Ultimate basically made that story canon.

I've only ever tried to write a fan fiction once. I gave up before I finished the second paragraph. Turns out that even if you have a funny idea, writing comedy is really hard.

I laughed at how this implies that playing the Belmonts doesn't require skill. I mean, all you do is mash B, right? :p

I don't think there's much skill needed to spam Phantoms and f-smash with Zelda either, though. I'm considering picking her up more seriously, though, she's fun and seems to cover one or two matchups I can't cover well with Lucina, so she seems like a good pick for me. Might put more time into Robin too since she seems to work out for me as well.

I got really into it a few years back. Thankfully I stopped before I uploaded most of it, it was really bad.

The idea recently came back to me, and I'm debating trying again. Probably not doing it, because it would be a huge undertaking and my writing probably isn't that much better then from a few years back.
