Sorry Gates, shoulda been more specific.

I know you can't DHC into your original character. I mean after Dante's Devil Trigger comes out, you just swap with Zero and quickly use Sougenmu or something? Idk where I was going with that to be honest.
That sounds like a really bad idea. What exactly is the point of raw tagging and losing Zero's red life and spending 2 extra meters doing powerups that aren't safe when you can, you know, just DHC or do a raw Devil Trigger as the opponent comes in?

To the vid: I said on the comments as well, but I don't know why Marn didn't just use Plasma Storm at the end instead of HSF, would have killed.
It wouldn't have been that much extra damage due to scaling. To be honest he probably should have just HSF'd or spit after HSF to chip.

MARN MAKING POOR DECISIONS WHILE PLAYING A MATCH THAT NEVER HAPPENS DOHOHOHOHO

He killed a fully healthy Zero with lvl 3! Had he killed Zero without the XF then it would have been amazing!
Anyone can kill Zero in X-Factor. Zero is an 800K health character. You can just jab a couple times and he'll be dead. Still, killing a Sentinel at almost full health is a big accomplishment when you're out of X-Factor.

How do I use my code to unlock Shuma/Jill? <.<; too lazy to look

Edit: Nevermind, and here is my thoughts:

Though I still suck, I can't see Shuma being good.

Jill on the other hand, god... I want to find a way to make Spidey/Jill/Dante work.

Is there anyone here that is still playing with the characters they first started?! Or did many of you decided to meat ride whatever you saw on a livestream?!

I still have my Mag and Felicia on the team, but decided to drop Hsien-Ko!
I've only created two real teams so far. So I've only properly learned 6 characters.
Although I am dropping Hsien-Ko to have someone better on point. Sentinel Force isn't all that different from Hsien-Ko's assist if I play it smart.
I'm trying out Dante in that team for now just because I already know how to use him.
@ Gates

And with that question in particular, Zero & Dante suck for DHC. Glad I went to Spidey. lol
How much damage are you getting from Zero's combo to Spidey's combo via DHC?

I'm starting to think Zero's and Dante's DHCs don't suck now. It's just a matter of setting them up correctly and not screwing up once it's time to DHC. I found ways to DHC from Zero to Dante and vice versa. I have to combo the opponent into the corner but that isn't hard with Zero or Dante.

I didn't have much time to test things out but I've hit over 800k for DHCs both ways and I know I can expand on it since I went for weaker BnBs.
All the effort into making this work is a huge downer though for Zero to Dante.

You saying it "wouldn't have been that much more" doesn't really matter because you're still admitting to it doing MORE therefore would have killed Spencer as a whole and that is what I'm getting at.

As it is, what the **** due to scaling? Are you serious? You realize all he did was a regular air combo into rocket punch OTG right? Have you ever even tested out the difference between when you use HSF after the rocket punch and when you use Plasma Storm instead? It's like a 100,000 damage difference. I would say that that is pretty significant, and in end game at that. It isn't just Marn doing it either, it's everyone. I wouldn't advise using HSF after rocket punch OTG unless you're in the corner because you usually can't get the re-launch after HSF so your best bet is to just use Plasma Storm and get as much damage as possible.

Messing around with Doom today led me find a really nice wall combo using Magnetos gravity assist.

Basically L>M>H>A>Midair M>Midair M>Airdash>Midair M>Midair M>Magneto Assist>Midair M>Midair Photon Array>Plasma Storm.

There is a ton of variations too.

Shuma seems pretty crap, and Jill is good but how the hell do I control her level 3 hyper combo? I can make her zip around the place like anything but landing a hit is so difficult.

Shuma is kinda fun, but I don't get him.. I like his Kirby move XD (where he turns to stone and falls)

As for Jill, she's fun.

Edit: After more playing, Jill seems meh. Shuma is fun, but I have a hard time moving around with him. I could learn though.

Edit2: Thinking about Dormammu over Deadpool on Spide/Dante/Deadpool

Spidey on point, Dormammu can keep back with his "magicks" and Dante can help him. Or use the magicks to let Dante get in. I just don't "Feel" deadpool tbh.

Hey guys.

Trying to decide a final team with she-hulk and probably Captain America, but I dunno who to have as a third. For assists I've been trying to decide as well, been using Tornado for OTGs if I can set them up with She-hulk, and for Captain I'm not really sure.

Any advice?

I've been using Wolverine and Sentinel since release, I don't intend to always rely on Sentinel, but I intend to for a very long time. Akuma is a new addition, replacing Morrigan, who really added nothing to my team. The meter assist was nice, but i don't really need it that badly, Akuma's Tatsu is much better for this me.

Jill is amazing! She's fast, fluid, and I see the mixup potential she has. Only downside is the execution requirement for Jill Install. I have to do 236 instead of 1236 as usual.

Is anyone having problems getting on here. I can only seem to access it via my phone.

Shuma just takes a bit of getting used to.

Jill is fun, though I only like 1 of her 3 supers, but she seems to sufer from "girl fighter syndrome". Meaning she can't take much of a beating before she succumbs, like basically all the other girls in this game.

I'm playing with Jill some more in Training Mode. For those of you with the guide, that 22S>L infinite is now only a loop that you can only repeat five times. In other words, it has hitstun deterioration. I was surprised to see that not even twenty four hours in with Jill and I managed to pull off the full loop a few times. RSF be damned.

She can also do the DHC reset after the fourth hit of Raven Spike but it must be before the fifth hit.

I think my Metroid: Biohazard Legends team is going to be arranged as Tron-b/Jill-a/Wesker-b. Tron will build meter and get in for Jill while Wesker provides OTG and can stand on his own better than Jill.

That reminds me, doing her Jill Install (Jill! Jill! Jill! Jill! Jiru tamashii!) loop is in no way lenient in its execution. You must do 236. You can't cheat it with 1236.

Once again, I find myself wondering why I bother with online play. I can't really learn anything, especially if I can't counter an unsafe move.

*sigh* Maybe I'll go to the local tournament Friday just for casuals. No other way I'm really going to get better.

Much as I hate Zero, it's nice to see a trap team taking root, even if it is pretty impractical and doesn't build meter at all. You basically need to rely on Morrigan to keep the trap going. It's also limited by only being good on the ground, but then again Duc couldn't deal with opponents with lots of aerial mobility either. Still, it would help if Zero had an air projectile other than charge shot to help control opponents who do manage to super jump.

I kinda wanna try Zero/Morrigan/Doom or Zero/Magneto/Morrigan now.

I HATE Zero. Espeically online since just about everything he does that's unsafe becomes safe, and he already has a lot of safe normals. Then there's every single time when you lose against him. Hearing him all arrogant is the only time that has ever made me want to hurt somebody because of a videogame.

I'm thinking of switching Tron out and making my Jill Team Trish/Jill/Wesker, MBL has a hard time against projectile teams.

Apparently, people don't see a heavy TK Overdrive coming after Dark Phoenix's launcher is blocked. This has worked consistently on almost every opponent I've faced since I started trying it.

Dorm didn't work like I thought. I was online trying to get the stupid "battle this vs this" achivements. Beat a guy with Chris/Cap/MODOK. I have no clue how to play any of them. lolz.

Jill seems like X-23, but with bad supers.

Shuma seems bad imo. All of his specials are charge moves, and they take a long while to charge. Some of his moves have good hitstun, but it seems like all of his moves do very little damage. Likewise, his supers.

But who knows?

Funny how I go online a couple days after Final Round ends and see more She-Hulks than I've ever seen before. And the other day I enjoyed like 10+ ranked matches without a single Sentinel in sight. It was heaven.

And here's another version of the Combofiend vs. Marn match that I thought was funny

How is Jill and Shuma? I have to wait before I can play again.
<3 Jill

This girl is fast, and that's without X-Factor. Unfortunately, her teleport isn't as safe as, say, Wesker, but there are some invincibility frames. Use it for mixups and use assists to create crossup setups. The best way to describe playing her is like controlling a wild mare.

You're not using Jill right then. Machine Gun Spray is meant to be an anti-air attack, but doing her somersault and jcing into it will do 450k damage. Mind you, this is those moves by themselves. Raven Spike, imo, is evidence that the DHC trick is not a glitch. You have to combo into it and even without scaling, the damage on it is ***, but it does allow you to combo into other supers with DHC that might not have been possible otherwise. A good example is Tron's King Servebot.

And I would say Jill is more mixup oriented than X-23. That being said, Jill can dish crazy damage easily. L>M>H>2H>4H>236M>H>12369PP can deal around 500k, but the bullets are a little bit random. Time it right, and you get some extra damage.

Only two special are charge move. Mystic Ray and Mystic Stare. Mystic ray is easy to charge after you do a Air S just hold down after you start going down. Also, He has pretty decent damage output. His supers have invul frame but alot of ending lag if whiffed.

He can L, M, H 4-5 hits, -> H, S, M, M, 236M. Once he hits level 1 x factor his S landing lag goes away faster.
