Joe, not so much because he has tiny limbs, so he needs to get in close eventually. His bombs are okay, but his voomerang is kinda bad for zoning.

Spidey totally can.

Isn't Ammy anti-spam?

Can Joe and Spidy fly all over the screen like douchebags?

/legitimate questions
Ammy can crouch under quite a bit of onslaughts of projectiles (including Sentinel's crouching H.) She can also close in while crouching using M, allowing her to pose a threat while simultaneously avoiding the camping.

Thank you for regurgitating Keits from Winter Brawl V for us.

Now that I think about it, Ammy's Cold Star assist would be extremely useful for crossup teleports with Jill and Wesker. I'm wiling to trade more damage for less defense in this case.

Oh, and what's the timing for Wesker's OTG Shot to 2M?? I can't get it for the life of me.

Yo anyone who thinks sent rocket punch assist is bad is dumb. Y'all need to learn what you're talkin about.
It really depends on what your team needs. If you need an OTG assist Rocket Punch is good, but if you need something to cover your approach (more likely) then Drones are better.

My post was more of a response to I think it was choknater saying the only good Sentinel assist is the one everyone uses. I'm really more just saying that there ARE other good ones, not in use factor as much but just that it's good.

Hell in the future I could even see people using the bomb drop assist for keeping opponents out. I don't think he really had a "bad" assist necessarily. You wanna talk bad assists and I'll hand the mic over to MODOK haha.

MODOK's bomb assist opens up some cool possibilities for combos actually.

Beam and barrier suck though.

@ Serris, I'm surprised you like Phoenix vs Haggar since if you teleport and even get close to him he can go lariat -> super and kill you. Guess Haggar players aren't that smart though lol
I really question why you like Haggar over Phoenix. He can lariat when she teleports (and then attacks)? Okay, but what about the barrage of projectiles?

I'm mostly talking vs regular Phoenix. I hope you don't think I meant Dark Phoenix because nothing beats that *****. Ever.

But vs regular Phoenix? Yes, Haggar wins. Lariat is invincible and when you go into super you just hit most the time, I've never seen anyone just be hit out of it. Not sure if he has invincibility on the super but yeah.

Spencer's probably my favorite fighting game character of all time, haha. And I'm sure we can play, but not in the near future since I'm still busy with stuff (coughgroundedcough) But it'll happen.

No, I was talking about regular Phoenix too. Dark Phoenix is not even close.

But, I don't really want to argue over it, so whatever.

I'm feeling Morrigan is one of the best "fast" characters.

That j.H as an overhead is pretty amazing.

I'm not willing to get rid of Doom or Sentinel for her though, as well as that my Akuma has been clutching it today.

What do?

Well, I personally think Morrigan is better than Doom on point, but her assists aren't nearly as good as Doom's Hidden Missiles (or even rocks or beam). Sentinel is just too good to get rid of. Akuma is a good character and Tatsu is a good assist that Morrigan doesn't really have an equivalent version of. So basically I can see your team going one of two ways.

1. Run a rushdown team like Sentinel-A/Akuma-B/Doom-A or B
2. Run a zoning team like Sentinel-A/Morrigan-A or Y/Doom-B

I nearly always have Sentinel on point.

Followed by Doom then Akuma.

My problem with Doom ATM though is the fact that he is dealt with easily by characters with better options than him.

Maybe I just need to see some good Dooms in action.

I find myself nearly always going for the j.H>AD>j.M>land>(insert ground moves here ending with a launch)>j.Mx2>AD>j.Mx2.

I have his corner loops down, but getting people there is easier said than done.

Zero dude you on 360?

I had a friend using Haggar on his team specifically when he fought Phoenix's and it worked extremely well haha. I don't know who you play or what they do but yeah, it seems to work just fine.

I don't see Haggar winning against a campy Phoenix.

Not unless his pipe cancels projectiles.
