If anyone needs help deciding on a stage, I took a few screenshots of the locations featured in the leak.

The player's base of operations for most of the game. Though an important area, I don't think it will work too well as a stage as both outdoors and indoors are quite plain.

The "Quarantine Valley" of the Ark. It suffered a strong Chimera outbreak in the past, causing the government to seal it up. This has led to it developing a distinct culture compared to the rest of the Ark. It is home to the largest junk market as well as a hacking group known as the Hermits.

Where the Chimeras are from. It is an extradimensional plane of existence that nothing but Chimeras can survive in. Prolonged exposure can lead to redshift corruption and death. It is quite visually interesting, composed of various polygonal shapes as well as various obstacles (that I didn't get in the pictures). Possibly the other place that the player spends the most time in aside from Neuron HQ.

Ironically, I was thinking about submitting Angel. She's underrated...

Also, missed opportunity to have Slim Bob as an Enhanced Spirit.

Don’t forget to vote for which is truth and which is leakbait!

Time to find out what is real and what is LEAKBAIT!!!!

In truth, the leaker was pretty much on the spot but not entirely from what we found out during the character reveal. The leaker did get some things right but, sadly, missed on a few things. But what exactly did they not get right in the leak?

Let's break down the leak, shall we?

Crossed out portions are ineligible for voting to commit it as a leakbait. Firstly, because Akira or whatever we decided to name them, is our next confirmed newcomer. Secondly, the rules stated that this leak is only for one character. While Warframe would be pretty sick, we can't commit to adding a Warframe character based on the previous rules. Our next character prompt will have no bearing on the previous leaks.

We will be conducting a Google Forms poll to identify what were the fake leaks in the Akira leak. What was true and what was fake. In the forms, there are 3 sections: Gameplay/Appearance. Stages, and Additional Content. The winner of each is the leakbait while the loser is, well, the true content that will appear. Kind of mixed up but it should all work out. Identify what was the leakbait content in the Akira leak and what will actually be revealed.

Gameplay/appearance
  • X-Baton
  • High-Mobility
  • Sword Legion Only
  • Swaps between Akira and Legion
  • Two alts
  • Evangelion colors

Stages (winner will be our Astral Chain stage rep)
  • District 09
  • Astral Plane
  • Neuron HQ

Additional Content
  • Kyle and Lappy Mii Costumes
  • Jena Anderson Assist Trophy
  • Homunculus Greek Triangle Boss Sphere
You can vote for each leakbait content here on Google Forms.

Feel free to discuss the nature of the Akira leak.

We are also interested in how to you liked the little deviation from our typical formula.

Would you like to see leak-based submissions again in the future?

Feel free to brainstorm on how the ASTRAL CHAIN Protag could possily play. We won't be going into moveset submissions quite yet but feel free to bounce ideas off from one another.
While we wait for the results to come in about which is leakbait and what isn’t, we can focus on something that I have greatly overlooked.

Additional Taunts for Veterans

We agreed to add an entirely new side taunt for the cast thus giving a total of four taunts instead of three. This was something we voted on earlier in the year when the thread started taking off and have used it for the newcomers. It’s about time we add them to our veterans as well.

Please only submit between 1 to 5. We want to ensure everyone has a chance to submit one.
When submitting a charqcter taunt, please indicate using our built in emojis :ultbowser::ultgunner::ultfalco::ultcorrinf::ultkrool: as well as the character’s name to make it easier to identify them
Please carefully check to see if a character’s taunt has already been submitted. Duplicate entries for a character will be denied with the earliest taunt being accepted. *
The Leadership team has the ability to veto/decline a submission if they feel it’s out of character for that …. Character or if it doesn’t fit
Submit a single taunt for Squirtle, Ivysaur, or Charizard. Same applies to the Miis

**** it is super important to check to ensure you don’t submit a duplicate entry.

I will start things off by submitting three of them:

:ultcloud: Cloud
Cloud will raise his Buster Sword horizontally and rears back a bit as if to strike. He says “Don’t get in my way. Or else.” This is taken from Dissidia NT.
Alternatively, he has a Alt costume variant for his Advent Children costume. In this one, he will clutch his Geostigma-infected arm and grimace with pain. If again Sephiroth, he will utter “Sephirosu” in Japanese.

:ultincineroar:Incineroar
I don’t know the exact name but Incineroar will wave its hand in a circle around its ear and then lean forward while cupping it’s hand next to its ear. This was done to indicate the wrestler was asking the audience to cheer them on or that they couldn’t hear the audience cheering for them.

:ultmegaman:Mega Man
Beat appears and flies around Mega Man as he watches. It then vanishes. This is due to Beat getting slashed from appearing as a custom move.

:ultsonic: - a Motobug appears beneath Sonic's feet a la Hero's Slime taunt - annoyed but clearly used to it, he rolls his eyes, nonchalantly stomps the pest, and briefly strokes the innocent Flicky's feathers to reassure her.

:ultwario:Wario picks his nose, somehow pulls out a booger that's double the size of his nose, eats the booger, and burps brazenly.

:ultduckhunt: The dog picks up the duck by the neck and laughs, to which the duck bites his ear in retaliation - after this the two laugh together over it.

:ultness:Ness gives a peace sign and exclaims "Fuzzy Pickles!" - this is followed by a camera snap sound and his model briefly flashing white

:ultpacman:: The "Look" symbol from Pac-Man 2 flashes to his left and right, Pac-Man looks around from left to right, not knowing the Pac-Man 2 player is just trying to distract him.

:ultswordfighter:Mii Swordfighter
The Mii stabs its sword into the ground lodging it in with its right hand. The Mii then pulls it out with both hands in a similar manner to pulling the legendary sword out of its stone.

:ultgunner:Mii Gunner
The Mii points their arm gun forward and leans their head as if they were focusing on their aim. They then fire off an empty dhot doing a shooting attack motion.

:ultbrawler:Mii Brawler
The Mii unleashes a flurry or punches onto the ground creating cloud particles everywhere around them. This taunt doesn't damage however.

:ultsteve: Steve
Another Minecraft greeting taunt. Steve will jump up and down while spinning and crazily rotating his head around everywhere. This action is usually used in Minecraft servers to express excitement. Additionally, Zombie will be set on fire during this taunt and Enderman will have water particles coming out from him. This is purely aesthetic however and deals no percentage to them but is merely meant to reference each respective mob's weakness to daylight and water, something not seen in Smash due to them being alternate costumes.

:ultbowser:Bowser will roar triumphantly and raise his fist in the air-his victory animation from Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.
:ultlink:Link will pull out his Sheikah Slate and spawn a Cryonis block below him, which raises him up, and he smiles in amusement to make use of his runes in battle-but it almost immediately breaks, and he falls to the ground, annoyed. When the pillar breaks, it does minimal damage to those around it. This taunt cannot be canceled.

A taunt for Incineroar has been submitted already. Easy mistake!

missed opportunity is that Violet and Jaycee should have been an enhanced spirit too.
I was thinking of making Jaycee a Spirit together with Michelle Chang, to reference their relationship and the fact that they've had a secret combo together in TTT2 (just like Baek Doo San and Hwaorang). But upon further inspection I don't really think Jaycee is for good boys and girls, as uncovered thighs and upper legs are heavily frowned upon by CERO. That along with the fact that Jaycee only appears in 2 spinoffs, made me opt to do a solo Julia instead, summonable with a Michelle spirit (as a reference to the fact that Julia basically replaced her within the mainline Tekken games).

Anyways, taunts.

:ult_terry:Terry
Terry bows and takes his iconic cap with his hand. He lays it on his chest and says "sowry" in his adorable accent.
snk-terry2.gif

Gonna leave the other fighting game dudes for others, but if no one takes them then don't mind me if I do later in the day.

Fixed.

Also, wasn't expecting to make any Fire Emblem taunts but I had some ideas.
:ultrobin::ultrobinf:Robin (M and F) stop fighting, pull out a book, and sit on the floor to read as they do in the Ultimate banner. They then look around, notice the fight currently ongoing, put the book away and stand up.
:ultbyleth::ultbylethf:Byleth (M and F) pull out a teacher's pointer and hold it sternly with both hands, then point it forward before putting it away. "You have much to learn." they say.

:ultryu: - fixes both of his gloves simultaneously, based on his Street Fighter Alpha taunt
.

:ultpit: - Swing his blade forward and the poses with his back facing the screen, based on his introduction during the fight with Pandora.

:ultken: - We already have the famous thumbs-up Ken now I'll give you thumbs-down Ken
.

:ultrosalina:- the Luma started waving their hands as if they are begging to be fed so Rosalina did so by tossing 1 star bits right in their mouth before putting on a satisfied face, based on Hungry Luma.

:ultpikachu: - Pikachu rub both of his cheek before it creates a small electric surge, a normal behavior for the Pikachu species by rubbing their cheek against each other but this mostly shown in the anime as a way to invoke happiness and excitement.

:ultpyra:/:ultmythra: : Pyra/Mythra will take out a small cooking pot and pouch, and make something in the pot. If Pyra's the one cooking, she'll take out a plate of Pan-Fried Tartari from the pot, get a good, satisfied whiff of it and slip it into her pouch before reassuming her position. If it's Mythra, it's generally the same, but instead, a comically censored dish will come out. If a Fighter is near Mythra when this happens, they'll perform a unique shudder animation and their face will react in the same way as if they're hit with poison or Eiha. Except if it's another Mythra, in which she'll give her mirror opponent a nice thumbs up.

:ultbanjokazooie:: Banjo & Kazooie will practice their own instruments for a bit before putting them away. Gotta prepare for their victory screen, you know!

:ultsephiroth: : Sephiroth will begin floating in the air, take out a Materia and throw it in front of himself, much like what he does to Cloud in the rebuilt Nibelheim. The Materia itself is of a different color, but it'll always deal 2% unflinching damage.

:ultminmin : Min Min will take out a nice bowl of ramen and down it, being surprisingly deft with her ARMS as she does so. For the first use, it'll only heal as much as a food item, but after that, it loses its healing functionality.

:ultpokemontrainer: :ultpokemontrainerf: Trainer starts to pull something out of their bag, but they stop for a sec and slip the bag back on. A reference to when the professors words “Now is not the time to use this”

:ultcharizard:: looks at the screen while growling and stomping viciously. This was the characters previous down taunt in Smash Bros Brawl and Smash Bros 4.

Alright, we have our leakbait submissions. Remember the winners for each category is confirmed leakbait meaning it is false and untrue. The "losers" is the actual content we are adding in.

Gameplay/Appearances

We will be accepting the top three winners.

Forms response chart. Question title: Please vote on which gameplay aspect was leakbait aka fake 3 column will grant it 3 points, 2 2 points, and so on. Accepting more than one winner. For more information on the leak components, please refer to the Infinite thread and the vote post here: https://smashboards.com/threads/ultimate%E2%80%99s-sequel-super-smash-bros-infinite-project.510119/post-24462756. Number of responses: .

  • Fights Using the X-Baton: 14
  • A High Mobility Fighter with Variable Range: 20
  • Only uses the Sword Legion: 38
  • Swaps between Akira and Legion Freely: 32
  • Male and female alts plus Legion colors: 10
  • Evangelion colors for Legions: 30
Stages
We will be accepting the top 2 winners.

Forms response chart. Question title: Please vote on which stage was leakbait aka fake. Number of responses: .

District 09: 8
Astral Plain: 2
Neuron HQ: 14

Additional Content
We will just be accepting the first place winner.

Forms response chart. Question title: Please vote on which additional content for the leakbait aka fake. Feel free to cech. Number of responses: .

Lappy and Kyle are Mii Costumes: 12
Only one of them are a Mii Costume: 12
Jena Anderson is an Assist Trophy: 16
Homunculus Δ is a Boss Sphere: 32

I decided to cancel out the second option instead of going with a tiebreaker.

So now we know the content that the leak got right so, now,we can start building up the Astral Chain content in Smash Infinite! We might include a few more things here and there depending on how things go. Here is the definitive list of content:

Officer Howard is a newcomer
Offier Howard's attacks utilize the X-Baton
Officer Howard is an highly-mobile character with variable range
Astral Plan

Jena Anderson is an Assist Trophy

So from here out, we will begin working on Officer Howard. This session will also have a fancy new name to boot!

Character Development: Officer Howard - Gameplay & Moveset

1625279837173.png

So we know that Officer Howard uses the X-Baton for their attacks, is highly mobile with a variable range, doesn't only utilize the Sword Legion, and has alts between the male and female avatars. Players also can't switch between the avatar and legion freely. Based on these attributes, how would Officer Howard play as? Please submit the following content:

  • Attributes and gameplay analysis based on a highly-mobile character with variable range
    • This includes any content such as stats (weight, jump, speed rate, etc) and playstyle
    • This also includes any gimmicks they may have

  • A moveset that incorporates but not limited to Legions and the X-Baton
    • Please include the following attacks
      • Normal Moves (Jabs, tilts, Smashes, aerials, throws, etc)
      • Special Moves
      • Final Smash
        • If your moveset also as different moves for the Legions, please provide those as well
Hailing Krookodilian Krookodilian to provide his most-wonderful template format when submitting movesets and the like.

Following this, we will then begin adding the following. You can prepare submissions for these upcoming prompts which will be within a span of few days but they can't be summitted until their job actually starts. This is to keep the thread from being too cluttered.
  1. Additional content for Officer Howard
  2. Astral Plane stage submissions
  3. Jena Anderson Submission
Finally, unless anyone objects, Lappy will be a Mii Brawler and Kyle a Mii Swordfighter.

Don't be silly, we all know that Negan is from Image Comic's hit series the Walking Dead. This spirit will need to wait until we add Omni-Man, probably next week.

Stats
Both Officer Howards stand at 5 feet 7 inches in their base game, though the male Legionis stands slightly taller at 171 cm compared to the female’s 169 cm. This will make them as tall as other 5’7” characters Robin and Shulk. They will have a shared weight stat of 103, making them the same weight as Ryu and Ken. This will mean that they are middle-heavyweights. Officer Howard will have a speed value of 0.884, putting them between Wario and Snake’s speeds and making them a slower character. Their air speed value will be 1.134, same as Ike, R.O.B. and Bowser Jr. to represent their more grounded gameplay in Astral Chain.

Gimmick: Legion
One of the key gameplay elements of Astral Chain is the focus on controlling two characters at once for combat. This is achieved via Officer Howard’s Legion, of which there are 5 types. When the Legion is deployed, it will move to where the player directs it to, so long as it is within the limits of the Astral Chain. It will then attack any enemies nearby. The 5 types of Legion are Sword, Arrow, Arm, Beast, and Axe. Each type has specific purposes, of which the skilled use of is necessary to make it pass through hordes of enemies. The Sword Legion focuses on balanced attack, the Arrow Legion long distance damage, Arm trapping, Beast evasiveness, and Axe defense. However, though useful the Legion is, it will automatically go away if the Limiter Gauge is decreased. The player can call the Legion back any time to prevent the Limiter Gauge from dropping too quickly, however. Aside from being used as the player’s other attack option, the Legion also powers up attacks, known as Sync Attacks, which are indicated with a flash of blue light. These trigger after calling in the Legion at the right moment, combos, and key story moments. Similarly to Joker, Officer Howard’s appearance will change when the Legion is out for any attack. Their hair will turn blue and marks will appear on their face. Thus, the Legion is a powerful tool that sets Officer Howard apart from many other characters within the same genre.

In Smash, Legions will have the same purpose - attacking from a distance and serving to control the crowd. Officer Howard will be able to summon, call back, and move their Legion freely so long as their Limiter Gauge is filled enough. This Limiter Gauge will be on the side of Officer Howard’s damage display, and will change color as it depletes. When it is full, the Limiter Gauge will appear blue. Once it reaches ⅔, it will turn yellow, and then red at ⅓. The player can summon the Legion at any point during the yellow and blue phases. This Limiter Gauge will deplete automatically as long as the Legion is out (save for any special circumstances, which will be noted) and if the Legion is attacked. The Limiter Gauge will deplete in 8 seconds, for balance purposes. If it is completely emptied, it will take around 12 seconds to fill back up to its maximum. The Legion can move at the player’s leisure, as long as it is within the limits of the Astral Chain. By holding down the special button, the player can move the Legion to a distance of about a third of Final Destination. Any normal attacks that involve the Legion will recall the Legion towards Officer Howard.

Playstyle: Controlling the Crowd
As a police officer, especially one tasked with dealing with extradimensional threats, Officer Howard must be able to effectively maintain control over their surroundings. This holds true in both the gameplay of Astral Chain and Smash. As such, much of their moveset will focus on making use of their Legion and the X-Baton weapon in order to create situations that force the opponent into a controllable state, such as zoning and trapping.

AttackNameDescription%
Neutral SpecialSummon Legion / Send Legion / Dismiss LegionLightly tapping the special button will call the Legion. The Limiter Gauge will begin to decrease. If the Legion is called in the air, it will fall along with Officer Howard. It can be moved as it is falling.

Holding the button while moving the move button will move the Legion. The Legion is free to move on the ground while holding the button, though it cannot exceed the distance of the Astral Chain.

Lightly tapping the special button again will dismiss the Legion. The Limiter Gauge will stop decreasing and begin to recharge.

Functions similarly to Monado Arts, where the player can either continuously tap the button for the Legion they want, or hold to choose Legion. The order will be Sword -> Arrow -> Arm -> Beast -> Axe. The selection menu will have that order clockwise. The currently selected Legion will have its icon displayed in the damage display. This selected Legion will be the one to be sent out if no Legion is currently active.-

The Legion
When the Legion is summoned with the special button, it will begin attacking enemies. It will do this automatically without input from the player. The Legion will stay in one place until it is moved with the special button or until it is dismissed either automatically or with the special button. As mentioned before, the Legion can be attacked, which will decrease the time it is allowed to stay out. The Legion will not be able to jump and if it is called in midair, it will descend a little slower than Officer Howard will. The Legion will not be able to attack as it is being moved.

Final Smash

AttackNameDescription%
Final SmashLegion Sync Attack Finish
Link to video. File 11 and final boss spoilers. (footage from NicoDCruz Game Collection on Youtube)

A cutscene final smash.

Officer Howard begins by riding the Beast Legion a short distance with the Gladius equipped. Anyone hit by this hitbox will be sent into the cutscene, based on the final combo against the true final boss of the game, though sped up to decrease time taken.

It begins with Officer Howard dragging the opponent on the ground with the Gladius while the Beast Legion dashes forward, then the opponent is launched into the air, where Officer Howard summons and wears the Arm Legion to do a rapid flurry of punches. As the opponent is suspended in the air, the Arrow Legion fires a charged shot at the opponent. Officer Howard calls the Axe Legion to jump up and bring the enemy downwards with a slash. As the opponent is on the ground, Officer Howard and the Sword Legion perform a Chain Bind. This part will deviate from the cutscene and FILE 10 SPOILER Officer Howard will tear out the Legatus core and implant it into their heart, fusing officer and Legion and performing a final attack which ends the cutscene and launches the enemy.
49.8

Summary
Overall, Officer Howard will be a character with variable range and high mobility. Although not too fast of a character, it is made up for with various movement options from the Legions, such as through Chain Jumps and Legion Skills. By mimicking the gameplay of Astral Chain, we are able to create a character who built upon the puppeteer archetype as well as expand upon zoning and trapping. This represents Officer Howard's playstyle in their base game as well as their occupation. The freedom of use for Legions allows the player to have vary strong stage control that is limited only by the length of the Astral Chain (which is already quite long.) However, despite their strengths, Officer Howard suffers a few weakness, namely their weight making them easy to combo as well as some attacks being difficult to land. As such, Officer Howard must have effective control over their Legion, movement options, and attacks to overcome their weaknesses.

Thanks for reading! (fun fact, my switch died as i was referencing the moves to write descriptions for)

Wow, these are some amazing character movesets! I’m always amazed by the content everyone comes up with and I do hope you are able to showcase your talent in other areas of the forum!

We will be closing up the Taunt submissions and will be reopening them on a later date. Submissions for Officer Howard movesets will continue until the end of the day but, that being said, I want to transition to our next discussion to keep the thread active.

Palutena’s Guidance/Snake Codecs

Palutena’s Guidance is noted for not including guidances for the Ultimate DLC fighters and the Snake Codecs never included anyone after Brawl. We are bringing these back in force which will include guidances and codecs for the post-Brawl roster, Ultimate DLC, and Infinite roster. I can’t imagine we will fill them all up but feel to do as many as you would like. Like before, please keep track which characters were submitted to ensure duplicates aren’t made.

Palutena's Guidance:
Sephiroth:

:ultpit:: Another angel?! Why does he have just one wing?! Where did the other go?!

:ultpalutena:: This isn't an angel you wanna be friendly with, Pit.

:ultpit:: Huh? What do you mean?

:ultpalutena:: Sephiroth here is a madman, believing himself to be the member of an ancient nomadic race known as Cetra. He wishes to annihilate all human life...

Viridi: Ohhh! This, I can get behind!

:ultpalutena:: ...by smashing a giant meteor into the planet and absorbing its life energy.

Viridi: ...wow. This is literally the fastest that I've lost respect for anyone. Real good job there, Sephiroth...

:ultpit:: So...lemme guess. I gotta be careful with that huge sword.

:ultpalutena:: Correct. Masamune, like Cloud's Buster Sword, is massive blade that he wields with questionable deftness. But to contrast the Buster Sword's bulk, Masamune has an insane amount of length in it's blade, meaning he could hit you from a very insane distance. And that's without getting into the magic he possesses.

Viridi: For once, Pit, I'm giving you my whole support here. That arrogant jerk thinks he's one of Those Chosen by the Planet, but he's just a megalomaniac that should not continue to live. Kick his butt, Pit! NOW!

:ultpalutena:: ...maybe I shouldn't actually say why he wants to destroy the planet near her...

:ultpit:: Y-yeah...probably for the best...

Snake Codecs:
Sephiroth

Colonel: Snake. This is an emergency broadcast. It is imperative that you hear this.

:ultsnake:: Hmm? Fill me in.

Colonel: You are facing Sephiroth, a former SOLDIER-turned terrorist seeking to destroy the planet.

:ultsnake:: You mean to tell me that this man went AWOL?

Colonel: In the worst possible way. He discovered that he was one of many experiments, being injected with JENOVA cells from birth so that the Shinra Electric Power Corporation may create supersoldiers known as...SOLDIERs.

:ultsnake:: This...feels really close to home...

Colonel: Don't waste any sympathy on him. Since then, he has murdered countless people, burned down entire villages, and attempted to summon Meteor on the planet as a way to absorb its life energy. He uses the giant katana Masamune, in addition to attacks such as Teraflare, Shadow Flare and Scintilla to dominate the match and overwhelm you with power.

:ultsnake:: Hmm. He may have the power, but he isn't invincible. He seems to take a lot of time going for his stronger attacks, and his barrier seems to break fairly easy. I'll wait however long it takes for him to get too careless, exploit that weakness and come in for a strong blow.

Colonel: Hmm. Good to see you've a clear head in spite of his actions. I would've assumed that all that would've left you burning inside with violent anger.

:ultsnake:: What do you take me for, Colonel? A Heartless Angel?

Dark Samus

:ultdarksamus:
:ultsnake:: "Hey, Otacon. What the heck happened to Samus?"
Otacon: "That's not Samus, Snake. That's Dark Samus."
"Hmph. Everyone's gotta have an edgy doppleganger these days, huh?"
"That's no doppleganger, Snake. That's Phazon, a highly radioactive and extraterrestrial substance that took the form of the legendary bounty hunter, Samus Aran."
"Sounds intimidating. What's it capable of?"
"She can use plenty of powerful Phazon-based attacks, along with copying many of Samus' abilities. But in Smash, it only uses the latter."
"Why's it holding back? I wanted a fair fight, y'know."
"Don't get cocky, Snake. Dark Samus is capable of everything Samus is-missiles and Super Missiles, Screw Attacks, Morph Bombs-she even has a new Smash attack in Infinite!"
"Let's see if the doppleganger puts it all to good use, then."

Snake: "Otacon, I'm concerned about the ethical implications of this..."
Otacon "DO NOT underestimate the Duck Hunt duo! Their bite is much worse than their bark!"
Snake: "How could an innocent little dog possibly hold up in a battle?"
Otacon: "Well, I said "duo", but that's extremely deceptive - there's a sharpshooter beyond the fourth wall who can and will shoot at you if need be, as well as a team of cowboys from the old west who will appear on the battlefield to protect the duo."
Snake: "Huh, I guess this puppy does have some good bite in him - fair battle then, bring it on!"
Otacon: "Just know this before you fight, that dog is a real sore winner - try to stay calm, because he has no sense of respect and will use your emotions to his advantage."
Snake: "Not very loyal, huh?"
Otacon: "Schadenfruedian? yes. Unloyal? no. He'll do anything for that duck pal of his."
Snake: "Huh, usually when dogs and guns are together some duck's gonna die... Must be an exception to the rule."

Codec Call - Pac-Man
Snake: "Mei Ling, is that yellow guy supposed to be Pac-Man?"
Orson: "Sure is!"
Snake: "Who are you?.
Orson: "My name is Orson, I've hacked into your feed using spectral energy to tell you what you REALLY need to know about Pac-Man! We've had our squabbles for sure but me and the Pacster go way back."
Snake: "What do you know that Mei Ling doesn't?"
Orson: "Well, I asked all your friends about Pac's powers and they just said he eats things - but Pac is way more than that so I had to take matters into my own hands."
Snake: "So what abilities does Pac-Man have? All I remember him doing in the 80s was eating ghosts."
Orson: "Ooh boy, you can't possibly imagine what it's like to be on the recieving end of a chomp! Anyway, he can throw his favourite fruit - cherries, strawberries, oranges, apples, melons. aliens, bells, and keys - each has its own unique trajectory!"
Snake: "Wait, keys?"
Orson: "Yeah, keys! You're telling me succulent keys don't grow on trees where you come from?"
Snake: "Ew..."
Orson: "Pac-Man can also get back on stage with a trampoline he borrowed from his policenau-I mean policemouse pal Mappy, and throw fire hydrants into the ground."
Snake: "Fire hydrants?"
Orson: "Fire hydrants are a huge problem over in Pac-Land, their sprinkers set off at the worst times - not an issue for me, I can just phase through the water, but knowing a creative guy like Pac it's not surprising he found a way to weaponise them."
Snake: "Making the most of a bad situation. Pac-Land must be lucky to have such a crafty hero."

The Legionis Officer Howard has joined the fray in Smash Infinite, bringing us closer to the release of the game! Despite their reveal being leaked, they are still a strong addition that represents one Nintendo's new ventures on the Switch. With them will bring several powerful music tracks, an assist trophy in Jena, a stage in the Astral Plane, spirits, and a character whose high mobility and variable range is unquestioned.

Play Astral Chain

I was planning on submitting a moveset, but most of these are so close to what I had in mind that I won't

... didn't we already start these? There was a Google doc with some already there
There was but that was a while ago. I had to trash the doc back during the spring time to make room for personal/work documents. If I recall, there were only a few that were submitted.
