Yeah, reading through all that reminded me exactly why I hate replacing in games this far in. XD
Well anyway, here's what I've gathered:
Stingers ****ing blows at mafia. No joke. I have no idea what kind of twisted strategy he was trying to pull off, but whatever it is, it sucked, and he talked WAY to big for his bite. Whoever told Yaya that he made a poor choice replacing Stingers needs to do a little bit of self reflection. Stingers was the EPITOME of an unmotivated, unhelpful, and deliberately anti-town player. There was absolutely no better choice to forcibly replace, than him.
I've been fairly happy with Macman's performance thus far as his replacement. Since that happened the game actually started getting interesting.
I must say though, you guys REALLY shoved you heads of your ***** during the whole Chaco v. Macman debacle. I've never seen such a tunnel visioned game. You guys let Smashman, marshy, Kevin and mentos more or less sit on the sidelines while your beat your heads against the walls saying the same thing over and over and playing meaningless games of unproductive Q&A. My brain was turning to mush reading the hundreds of posts of you guys drudging around in circles.
Honestly, I couldn't even understand where most of the arguments were coming from. Someone asserted that Chaco was caving under pressure like he did in Newbie Game 1. Are you kidding me? Chaco acted NOTHING like he did after I pinned him in Newbie 1. In that game he went ape**** and freaked out, tired to rush a lynch, and started swearing at people and making outrageous assertions and demands. In this game, all I saw was a naive newb townie getting ganged up on and literally not knowing how to properly fight back. He crumbled, yes, but only in his fortitude. You guys more or less broke his will from what I saw, and though he struggled to gain favor again, he certainly didn't do anything characteristic of his past performance. You guys got too caught up in semantics to fully grasp the impact of yor attacks. You took minor contradictions in opinion to be gamebreaking lies and picked every last thing he said apart, without realizing mistakes do NOT make someone mafia, but mistakes that can be clearly associated with the intent of a mafiat are.
Now that we know that Chaco was town though, I think we can put a lot of that filth behind us.
What I'd like to bring ot the forefront are my two primary suspects. KevinM and Marshy. KevinM has been coasting since the very beginning of Day 2. He's rarely commented on any of the content in the game beyond that point, and when he did, it was very minimalistic. Furthermore, he seems to have a nack for confirming his suspicions and votes just as deadlines approach, a time in this game where the mafia have significantly increased (and in my humble opinion, horrendously overpowered as a result of this games design, for resulting in the highest vote getters lynch at deadlines instead of no lynch) voting power. Marshy is guilty of doing the same. These "chip" votes are the types of things that the mafia can easily get away with, thus highly influence the lynch candidate, and at the same time remain under the radar and barely contribute a thing. I'll be expanding on my suspicions of both of these two later, but I thought I'd lay out a baseline for everyone to see right now. I'll also be holding off on voting at this time for that reason.
And lastly, mentos, why the **** are you trying to make night actions predictable? That is sketchy **** my friend. I believe now would be a good time to come clean with your theories, considering your little role experiment is now lacking a crucial piece.
