the problem i have with cfl and nfl tourney results is that the seeding at gigabits pretty much invalidates everthing but the top 2 b/c everyone plays the same people all the time

for instance, hozart, who is pretty much the only person in cfl i cant beat, has now beat me 9 of the last 10 gigabits (i didnt play him in the other one)

There are people in the south such as XIF whos been around the scene waaay longer than you and i, and QDVS is also to boot hes a moderater so hes pretty much entitled to keep up and in contact with the forums. Im not rippin on you *** nug im just saying your pretty new to the scene and havent been in tournys where the South has been in Central/North or OOS

well, just because you say they have been in the scene longer means that they may have a certain bias towards some people. If they are a bit newer then they can judge the people who are good right now, rather than a long time ago. But i may be wrong, i don't want anyone to get mad, but thats what i think. Doesn't really matter who judges, cause everyone can see how well they do, but it does matter that they don't have any personal bias.

Hmmm seems about right although from what i think is right doesnt Green Mario usually place higher than XIF? i might be wrong... and yes UI and noucles would definitely be huge contenders for the top 5 if they went to more tournys

Top 3 seems pretty rock solid as for tourny showings and the bottom 2 would switch out considering but id say the revolving bottom 2 players would be in lines of Rock, QDVS, GM, and XIF

in all actuallity though if Tipman still played it would look something like this

1. Tipman - Ganon
2. Tipman - DK
3. Tipman - Yoshi
4. Tipman - Ice Climbers
5. Tipman - Tipman

My list: Based strongly on tournament placings, as it should be. Also, it is rather hard to rank those I havent played (Rice), or are new to the tournament scene/attend few tournies (Skrach+gang/DF/Nouc).

1. Shiz/SpeedN (k)
3. XIF (beasting, beats Lamb, Queen, others)
4. Lamb (Beats Queen, very consistant)
5. UI (beats or has beeaten everyone except shiz/speed/xif/queen/derf)
6. Queen (goes even with everyone above him, but losses slightly)

After that it gets kinda iffy...

7. GM (consistant)
8. Rock (wtfpwn good, kinda inconsistant)

After that.. a lot of CFL players come to mind, also Nouc, but his tourney absence makes it hard to determine.

9. Derf?
10. Nouc?

Other CFL playres would likely follow (Cake name cancelled crew/noobtestament). Then for SEFL: Sighrax is good, DooDah, others I cannot say.

We all love Derf, but DF would definately be the highest placing CFL player. But you're right he really does need to start requesting off from work to attend more large tourneys.

pretty solid rock. I would put Q over UI because he's more consistent and just appears at more tournaments but thats just me. I would also put shiz as a definite over speedn. Shiz has really only seen problems from tipman and I would like to say myself. Whereas keepspeedn has seen problems from... more people I know but I just cant think of it.

if anything shiz>speedn because of tournament placings, but thats really because they manipulate their brackets >_>;

And maybe flipping me and lamb around. I dunno, we're pretty much back and forth in tournaments, the thing is that We're pretty even when it comes to wins/losses, but when I win I generally get top 4 whereas when he wins he almost always gets 1st or 2nd.
