Those have yet to be written. Matchups like those take time lol
Oh I know I know, I was just saying, looking at the date, I'd have guessed more would hopefully be up after almost three months. Can't wait for 'em.

Oh I see. Well actually, if you take a look at the "status update" section, it says the MK matchup was added on 11/16. That was about 2 weeks ago. So yeah...it'll be a while before Snake is up.

I didn't think to look at the updates, I only looked at the day it was posted. I'm sorry, if I came off as sounding like a **** I didn't mean to.

lootic's post is going in the guide but I have to make some tiny changes to the format. I'll save it onto a word document. Thanks Lootic.

Hey Nintenjoe, I noticed you don't take powered up moves into account when it comes to showing damage %.

You know, like Spin Attack does 20 and D-air does 23 when fully powered up. It's not a big difference, but I'm just wondering....at least the knockback increases slightly.

New Advanced link tech

Nice Guide. While screwing around my friend Biggs discovered a new advanced link technique.

Essentially its DAC (Dash attack cancel) followed by a bomb throw up or forward, it eliminates any lag in compariosn to links regular dash then bomb throw, as well as adding a small glide similar to boost smashing(DACUS)

That's not new at all. It's old.......really old. It's official name is the DACIT (Dash Attack Cancel Item Toss) as well as boost tossing. It's better known here on the Link boards as bombsliding.

See? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjdQY5SOqEE from 12/24/08

Yeah, it's not new. But still, I have to praise you. You didn't make a new topic about this. For that, I thank you to no end.

Despite my low post number i have trolled these boards since i found the website, and i have to say this is one of if not the most thorough and well done guide of any kind that i have seen. Simple amazing. And im looking forward to using this to improve my Link game. And about the tiers, i do not care the position that the character is, if you win with them, it doesn't matter where they are on the list.

Sigh... Everytime i attempt to do DAC, i either end up grabbing 90% of the time and actually pulling DAC off the other 10%. What in the world is it that i'm not doing?

Tap jump on or off? timing varies a lil. Also for the missed DACs, grabbing is very punishable. If you are willing to change a few buttons on your controller setup, you could make your missed DACs less punishable.

If you DAC with Z, you can asign attack to that button and put grab on X/Y (whichever you dont use for jumping). There you go, button input is the same but if you miss it you'll do a dash attack instead of a grab.

Tap jump is off, and i almost never try to DAC when i'm in a actual match because i know won't pull it off. I never made it a priority to learn, but now i realize. although situational it proves useful for setups, mindagames combos, etc...

it's HARD to pull off at will or at all for that matter. i just saw someone post the hitbox which shows where u should hit the person when they're coming to the stage but i wouldn't recommend using it anyway.

Are you kidding? This guide ***** mine lol
no, sasook this guide is overkill, no n00b will ever read it and no pro will ever need it(since they altready know it all) your guide is better, though I think you should better up the layout a little. I will come with some suggestions later maybe : D.

no, i prefer to jump after the opponent and nair them twice then zair-edgeguard the him/her
anyway, i was think about doing a jab cancel into dtilt and spike the opponent at the edge of the stage.:chuckle:
