Uggggh Cochran is a fool! Yes, going to rocks is dangerous, but the odds were so heavily stacked in Savaii's favor. It would've been perfect. Argggggggh

As much as I love Cochran I think it's safe to say that he done ****ed up this time. :urg:

That was a bad move, overall. Pissing off your entire tribe is the LAST thing you want to do in Survivor. Whether he makes it to the end or not, his chances at the million are extremely slim now.

If they can win Edna over, it will become very interesting. She knows she is at the bottom of her group. However, jumping implies being at the bottom of another group. Also, no one at Savaii seems to know (yet) that Edna is the bottom (though I guess it's obvious that SOMEone is at the bottom).

It's up to Coach to keep Edna feeling secure with Upolu.

Speaking of Coach am I the only one who's shocked at how good of a game he's been playing? He has arguably been the best player this season, overall. Plus with each episode that's been going on I'm liking him more and more.

Yeah, Coach is a monster this season. Granted, I cannot give him too much credit. It only took him three friggin tries to get it right.

Oh boy, this last episode was pretty entertaining. The fallout from Cochran's flip has led to some great moments, to say the least.

Also, I didn't really watch last season; how does Redemption Island post-merge work?

This season redemption island will be either 1v1 or FFA duels, and only the winner of the duel will stay. The rest will be sent home/to the jury.

Last year had a bunch of multiplayer duels, up to four people in a duel at one point, and all of them moved on and stayed at RI except a single loser of the duel. So let's say the duel was a 100 meter dash, all you had to do was not get last.

This year Jeff said that they're done with that. There may be some multiplayer duels, I don't know for sure, but only the winner from the duel will move on.

Finally the swedish season is over(5 players chose to drop out, making the strategic social play extreemly hard for them to try to plan, as well with the no vote decide, but physical competition to decide the winner).
Will start cathing up this season soon, I guess theres alot of episodes on youtube atm?

I see; so only Ozzy, Jim, or Keith is going to survive (hope it's not Ozzy). Are there going to be 2 immunity challenges per episode to keep 3 people on Redemption Island? Also, when does the Redemtion Island person come back to the game?

I don't think Cochran realizes that he's seventh and a former Savaii in a team of Upolu, and that if his former Savaai mates are voted off, he's the seventh and next to take the axe.

Ugggh... Cochran makes me angry. Brandon makes me angry. Brandon sure isn't acting very Christian anymore. He is an embarrassment to humanity. He pushes to dispose of Mikayla because of his own psychological issues; he boasts about having God on his side (the exact opposite of a humble disciple of Christ); he calls all of Savaii jerks when it was only really Ozzy in TC.

This season hurts. Frankly, I've moved on from who I want to win. I am dead focused on Cochran losing. XD

Yeah, Brandon has issues. I used to hate hearing him talk about anything, but lately having him act all hypocritical is kind of entertaining. He's young, maybe he'll grow out of it.

I still want Cochran to win even though that would take a miracle, but if not him, I'm rooting for Dawn. Though she doesn't stand much of a chance now either. :(

He's just trying to defend Cochran. How that makes you angry, I dunno. He's a bit clueless. I think it's cute, because he doesn't really know what he's doing. I mean, he's young. He'll live and learn.

Next week is another double elimination (via Jeffery on his Tout), and then it should be single eliminations per episode. This isn't spoilers, but I'm assuming that once they realized Savaii was just going to get pagonged, they put these uninteresting boots together so that when Upollu starts sending people packing, it may be interesting and they have all their air time.

In the previous season, which is the only one we can go by, the person came back into the game at final four (making it a final five), and then Redemption Island was no more. Whoever got voted out the next two votes went straight to the jury.

This season has been really good so far in my eyes (the best since Heroes vs. Villains?). Strategy is all over the place and some of the craziest moves in Survivor history have taken place.

I guarantee the rest of the season will get a lot more cut throat from here on out. Only 9 remain... Who do you guys see in the top 3?

Believe it or not I really wouldn't be shocked to see Brandon there at all. Hes played a fairly poor game overall by ticking quite a few people off, which means people will want to drag him to the finals with them for sure. Same exact thing could be said about Rick. He hasn't pissed anyone off but he hasn't done anything noteworthy either.

As for that third slot... For a bit more of a radical prediction, I could see Ozzy owning anyone who steps into Redemption island, getting back in the game, and winning his way into the final 3. He seems very focused now and I'm extremely interested in seeing how far he goes. If he gets into the finals somehow he just might actually win!

I'm never a fan of tribal blowouts where we have to endure a linear, predictable series of votes, but I am excited to see how the Upolu tribe cracks apart. I'm still just hoping Cochran explodes.

I'm predicting that the votes won't be as linear anymore based on the preview for next episode. It seems as if Albert is going to try to make some sort of big move against Coach or something, which will undoubtedly cause trouble.

So this week's episode was kind of alright. Wasn't really surprised with the outcomes except for Sophie's challenge dominance (you go girl, lol). Apparently though, it's a re-cap next week, so we've got to wait 2 weeks for a new episode.

Crap you're right about the recap.

I hate how the editing made it seem as if Albert and Sophie were going to make a big move but in reality nothing happened at all... Ugh.

Well, to me, I kinda figured nothing would happen with how obvious they were trying to make it seem. To be frank though, I wouldn't be surprised if Cochran actually was the one who backed out, lol.

So I'm officially back to watching all of the Survivor seasons in sequential order! I don't know why I didn't do this earlier because it's an amazing way to kill time. I just finished watching Survivor: Africa (3rd season) and it was pretty good! Wasn't as good as the 2nd season but I enjoyed it more than the first.

So far I'd rank the seasons like this:

1. Australian Outback (2nd season)
2. Africa (3rd season)
3. Borneo (1st)

Now it's time for Marquesas!

Finally catched up for this season (except the recap, do people watch those?)

Ozzy is fun to watch playing, doesnt seem to be afraid to do anything to win, and he might have found a decently strong "strategy", even though it´s his only option (he doesnt have to feed his opponents on RI though, so he takes a bit of extra risk for getting those votes).

When he got voted out first time it were going to be so cool if that would´ve worked.
Imo from Cochrans perspective he wouldnt get a nice placement in either tribe so it was probably one of the smarter moves he could have made.
Even though he could have gone for some "secret agent" strategy from last season(too bad it didnt happen XD) and just saying he was playing dumb in the end since he possibly could have reached the finals due to being "no threat".
Being dishonest will probably ruin his game no matter what now, unless survivor goes the less fun way and makes the final tribal have a different effect like the swedish version called "expedition: robinsson" which basicly has had 2 endings with a final challange, were the jurys votes has been for giving the finalist disadvantages like weights in the final challenge.

Prediction
Final 3: Coach, Cochran, Ozzy, even though sophie might be someone who actually wins.

Meh, I really don't care for anyone this season...and 85% of the camera is focused on cochran.

I was luling when Whitney was like about Rick "Rick's not even playing the game!"

I dunno, I found that sorta funny. Its true of course though haha

Admittedly, I'm only wanting people to lose at this point. I don't have any favorites anymore. I'm giddy that Cochran is out. He made a stupid move, no matter how you slice it. Now, all I need is for Brandon to be voted out, and all my dreams will come true!

As for a winner... I don't mind either Coach or Ozzy winning it. Ozzy has come so close and fallen short; he could use a win. Coach was just a joke for two attempts, but he is playing the game quite seriously this time around.

Cochran was my favorite this season, but now he's gone, so meh. I was liking Edna at the end, though; she tried as she could to break the cult apart, but Coach has a strong hold on them. I don't want another veteran to win, but I wouldn't mind if Brandon won. As much as I can't stand the guy, if he did win, we'd never hear the end of it.

Also, Jeff can't seem to leave Russell Hantz out of Survivor. Brandon's dad is not only Brandon's dad, but Russell Hantz's brother!!!11!

Lol I laughed pretty hard at that moment. Jeff has such a man crush on Russell it's pretty hilarious.

I was at the edge of my seat a couple of episodes ago when Cochran nearly beat Ozzy in that duel! It was a good effort though. Does Ozzy really lose to Edna in the next episode though? Sure did look like it.

Yeah, that one could've gone either way. But Cochran lost anyway, and so will Edna, because Ozzy eats magic fish on Redemption Island.

I should point out that Brandon's dad literally giving him a mental slap and essentially telling him "God thinks you suck", while going on to almost destroy Brandon's game with Coach was amazing. As long as Brandon, and Ozzy don't win, I'm good. I'd kinda rather Coach didn't since I'm pulling for Sophie but well...if there winds up being no other alternative...

Also, fun fact that might make people laugh considering Probst's man-crush on Russell. His new wife's maiden last name, is "Rusell". :bee:

Wow...I'm so mad that Coach pretty much lied to Ozzy, and how Sophie won the last challenge. They haven't even done anything this season and they reward Albert and Sophie for doing nothing. I just turned off the T.V after that, we all know Coach is going to win. I feel bad for Ozzy knowing he made it so far, yet it was for nothing...

Ridiculous :/.

Ozzy was going to win if he made it to the finals, period. Coach was never going to win, and Ozzy calling him out for lying pretty much sealed the deal. Sophie's breakdown at Tribal was pretty wrenching, but damn did she pull it off at the last challenge. At that point I figured she'd won the whole thing. I got kind of worried for a second when Ozzy plotted a tiebreaker; would've been kind of awesome to see. Coach got demolished at the final Tribal; it was pretty satisfying. The jury wasn't too bitter this time around.

Congratulations to Sophie, though! I was really rooting for her at the end, even though I didn't like her much the rest of the season. I really felt bad for Brandon though, and how nobody showed up for him. The omnipresent Russell didn't even have anything nice to say to him; he was only there because Jeff wanted him there, I'm sure.

I want to do this so bad, so I'm gonna keep trying! Ozzy's 10-minute speech about never giving up inspired me! :bee:

And that reminds me, Sophie was hilarious at the next to last challenge! "PICK UP MY PIECES!"

You do know Sophie wins right?

IMO Sophie was a good winner. She didn't make any big moves like Coach but she arguably played the best game. She kept Coach under control while winning some clutch immunity challenges. Coach played great as well but he stepped on too many heads with his ongoing preaching about "honor" and "loyalty."

Was a pretty good season overall. Better than season 21 and 22 for me at lest.

I'm shocked Sophie won...I find she didn't do a whole lot this season just rode Coach's coat tails, but I guess at the same time she didn't make any of the jury mad which obviously helped her to win the million.

And I wanna hear Ozzy's speech, I'll have to get over my bitterness over Ozzy losing and watch it later.

I am OK with Sophie winning. She's not my favorite player there, but I'm much happier with her than Cochran or Brandon winning. I'm actually surprised that Coach didn't win, but I'm not at all surprised that Albert sucked it up hard. He was so convinced he could talk his way to victory, but NO one respected him. Owned. XD

I don't mind all-star seasons with 2nd-timers, but the 3rd-times have to stop. We're sick of seeing them, and it reduces space for other applicants (and everyone just carries the veteran to the end).
