I just wonder how they will have become rivals to Mario and Luigi and what their backstory behind all that will be.

Wario is some schlubby guy in Brooklyn who sees the Mario Bros getting recognition for defeating Bowser. In an attempt to scam people out of their money, he tries to impersonate Mario. He even hires a guy on the street to impersonate Luigi with him.

Finished the Owl House finale. What a fantastic ending. Great stakes, flawless animation, the perfect score and tone. Really nice closure for a lot of the characters as well!

That Good Witch Luz design was great. Was a really unique mix of King and Eda. Also the time skips designs were nice to see. Loved seeing how the isles changed and that Luz seemingly lived the rest of her school life out on the isles.

Wario and Waluigi could've even been employees that worked for Foreman Spike but ended up getting fired as a result of their nature while Mario and Luigi got praised for how well they were with their previous job before starting their plumbing business. As a result they envied and hated the Mario Bros. since.

I ran into another person who's replicating Splatoon 1's blue Inkling. Insert "Spiderman pointing at Spiderman" meme here. (I love how both of us got the idea to use the "Zink Model" title, though I called myself "Long-Sleeved Zink Model" instead of "Inkopolis Square's Zink Model.")

Oh yeah, I also watched the Mario movie earlier today, and I had a great time with it.

The final confrontation taking place in Brooklyn was the "never realised how much I wanted this" moment for me, since it brings a sense of closure to that part of the universe instead of just throwing it in the trash: in particular, the Bros winning the respect of Foreman Spike came completely out of left field.

Also, I can't believe DK's "now you die" punch missed, I was so sure it would have hit Mario! Though I guess they couldn't have the battle drag on for too long

Considering he's been outed as cheating on 3 different women, and a lot of his associated companies are dropping/recasting him.

That face when on of the series i want to see in SRW will probably never show up now because it's lead character was voiced by Takahiro Sakurai.



As a funny sidenote when i first heard what Cloud's voice actor's name was his name sounded so similar to "Masahiro Sakurai" that my first mental image of the guy was Sakurai with a fake moustache.
