Hopefully we'll get the original Battletoads someday. I think I would only want to tackle that game with Save States/Rewind. I ended up selling my original copy once I realized that I'll never get far in it and that there are no truly helpful Game Genie codes.

Naturally haven't heard of the rest, but a Namco title being in there is a good sign I assume.

I assume Kunio-Kun will be fun. Super Dodgeball on NES (also on the service) is the best Sports game on the system next to Tecmo Super Bowl, so I would hope being the SNES that it'll be even better as the original was plagued with sprite flicking/slowdown.

Jaleco titles being put on the service is nothing new. City Connection (the current IP holder) releases their back catalog on pretty much any system that will have them.

Japan did not receive Battletoads + Double Dragon, instead getting…

Looking up the other title, I guess it's called Angelique. It looks like a Dating Sim for Women. It's from Koei Tecmo, so I assume that means there's some quality to it for a genre I have never played before.

Spoiler: Potential Leak

Looks to be exact same idea as the Switch 1, which is what I want anyway. The extra buttons on the shoulder buttons and the front right Joy-Con has me curious.

And the Nintendo Ninjas must be furious right now if this is legit.

On the one hand I’m not against the Switch 2 essentially being a bigger Switch.

But I’m also afraid that if it looks too similar we might run into the Wii U problem again, where people think it’s just another model like the OLED.

I realize I’m just being anxious. Hopefully the marketing is on point.

Honestly kind of disappointed that nobody is talking about VR being a native function for the switch 2. Imo it’s the perfect gimmick. Sell the system with a dock and a little headset to slide the switch screen into. It builds on the switches original gimmick of switching between multiple modes of play without being super intrusive. But whenever people talk about possible gimmicks or selling points for the switch 2 nobody ever brings up vr. I think it’s gonna happen though.

I've started watching Centaurworld and have continued watching Castlevania. I'm now on season 2 of the latter show.

Centaurworld gives me major Adventure Time vibes if it were more of a musical in terms of writing and humor, but has enough unique characters and elements as well it's own storyline to stand out on it's own thus far.

Castlevania has been an awesome dark adventure series so far, and some of the scenes in season 2 remind me a fair bit of Game of Thrones (at least before Season 8).

I don’t think they can. Switch ports are so specialized as their own product by different developers, you’d be comparing a demake of current-gen titles on competitor systems to how it was originally intended.

MK1 on the Switch is a technological feat, not in a good way imo. How its contributed to $4 million in sales is beyond me, and I wonder if they’ll do a deluxe port specifically to showcase what the sequel system can do. Idk who at NoA loves MK, but I’ll take anything that gives Scorpion a shot at smash.

If this leak is fake, then the guy who made it has to be the craziest person in the world going out of their way to make incredibly boring cardboard cut-out models using promotional material from the upcoming Grinch movie because he's thinking 47 steps ahead and knows that both Bandai-Namco and Universal studios contract the same obscure French marketing company. To this end, he then got himself an office, printed out the name of an employee of said company, and haphazardly half blurred out the name because, once again, he's some kind of super genius beyond the mental capacities of mortal man and he knew that the internet's crack team of cybersleuths would find his red-herring name in seconds.

This absolute Einstein of social engineering also happens to moonlight as an expert artist and after presumably spending hours carefully cutting and pasting characters from the Smash poster, he then went out of his way to produce 7 more drawings of his own with obscure elements like vines for Isaac that hardly anyone would be able to make out, and then, for the fun of it, he saw to making a completely unique drawing of the blank version of Battlefield just because he could. He made sure that this fake roster of his perfectly mirrored one posted on 4chan last month by someone whose first language clearly isn't English because he knew that people would immediately make the connection to the French marketing company that he is pretending produced this image. The fact that 5 new characters lines up with the 5 missing stages from Corocoro was all part of his master plan. He also made sure this coincided with Nintendo renewing relevant trademarks.

The lengths you have to go to believe that this is all an incredibly elaborate leak would make this man one of the most intelligent people to ever walk the Earth. This guy would be more competent than the entire government of Saudi Arabia when it comes to fakery.

I suggest you think about which outcome is more likely.

Comments seem to say the specs are form a different source and there’s sites like my Nintendo that said this backs up what they heard. So I wouldn’t count it out yet.
