I'm glad at least some people are hyped about Street Fighter season 2 but I'm a little bummed out tbh.

Was never really a big Bison fan outside of the memes but I kind of already accepted that he was coming back.

Elena's honestly a pretty alright pick imo.
Probably in the lower half of SF3 characters I would have wanted to see return but I like all of them so it's fine.

I really never wanted guest characters to be a thing in Street Fighter but if I had to pick one it definitely would have been Terry.
But Mai as well?

We're only getting 4 characters a year and 2 of them are guests and they're not even from different series? That's just overkill, man.

Yeah this is the dampener for me.
Terry is awesome. I love what they've done with Bison and I'm looking forward to Elena.
But Mai just... drags it down. She's boring as hell and SF6 has been popping off with it's own cast and especially newcomers so it sucks we're not getting one this season.

I think it's the precedent that guest characters set that kinda has me scared.

I'm imagining a scenario where every season has:
•1 typical pass seller
(I can already tell you Sakura is season 3's)

•1-2 guest characters

•1-2 moderately popular characters, or if you're lucky, a newcomer

•And RIP to surprise weirdo picks like Oro and Seth in SF5

Granted, this is like a worst case scenario.
For all we know, season 3 could have 0 guests, then season 4 could have 1, and then they could just not do any more after that.

But given that this is only season 2 and they're already dropping two Fatal Fury characters into a roster that really hasn't rounded out yet, it has me worried.

I beat the Prince of the Glitz Pit as well as the boney dragon of the 100 trials, now I think all I have left to do is help characters with their troubles that are still left and whack that mole. Technically I have to have to cook a bunch of recipes as well, but idk if I care enough to do them all sometime soon

I was going to try doing it all tomorrow, but Minecraft Hypixel Mega Walls has received a cool new update so I’m gonna play that instead.

I also finished the game already. It’s pretty good! It’s also the first time I beat TTYD since I haven’t beaten the Shadow Queen in the original game despite reaching her xD (she beat me and I guess I decided to focus on other stuff and never got back to it. I dunno if I forgot to save after Bowser, or if something else could be part of why I didn’t feel like trying again).

And yes, I know Cyborg and Nightwing/Robin and a couple other “iconic” younger characters aren’t here but I really wanted to avoid including Teen Titans stuff with the arguable exception of Static and Blue Beetle (who aren’t traditionally thought of as Titans characters anyway)

Ah yeah the lad Squid, the jumpscare creator Squid. Just run away tbh, if you need portal gears, try finding an Asura and Cylooping one of it's feet, you can attack the bottom of it's feet to get extra portal gears lmao.

I’ve been unlocking the concept art for thousand year door and I find it really interesting that it applies flurrie and Vivian would have swapped chapters for when you recruit them.

Just beware of Chaos Island, the third island in that game. It's not fondly looked upon by fans, and it might be frustrating.
