Tbh I think the real Sega moment is DRM on the Steam version. I'm getting it on ps5 but still, **** that. Game still looks absolutely amazing though

Tbh the fact that they still didn't with Sonadow Gens seemingly having a hell of a lot more to the point it doubles play time at minimum is making me wonder if they're actually gonma do that. Also, you'd think they'd have taken it down by now like how the Genesis games and CD got sniped off Steam when they announced Origins

Just tell her it's like an old school collectathon only with the coolest character in fiction and fun movement assuming Shadow's moveset is at the very least similar to Sonic Frontiers

Now the only reason I see why they wouldn't is to not kill the mod scene but tbh I don't think they care if they killed it off given that the Steam Sonic 3 is what was used for all the mods and romhacks

Pricing might also be a thing. Base Gens on Steam is 20 dollars, the main selling point for Sonadow is the new **** so you have base gens with new Chao stuff, a drop dash, the Casino Nights DLC and apparantly more missions? Meanwhile the Origins primarily had the coins, animated cutscenes, worse physics, worst music for Sonic 3 for like, 10 bucks for the regular Steam ports
