I thought G-Mode had the data east library? They’re the ones credited on that new Burger Time switch game and the handful of data east arcade archives games I have.

It's a long story.
Back when Data East went Bankrupt in the early 2000's, they sold the IPs to other franchises.
- G-mode, a mobile phone game developer who later was acquired by the Senran Kagura guys, got a good chunk of the franchises.
- Paon, who made the three most divisive Donkey Kong games, the Klonoa remake for Wii and had some of DECO's ex-employees, inhereted a few ones (Karnov, Atomic Runner, Windjammers, Vapor Trail, Glory of Heracles)
- D4 Enterprise, who created Project EGG, got the rights to te Robocop games.
- Arc System Works has Jake Hunter
- And Metal Max was on a jimbo limbo of many companies owning it (nowadays by CyGames)

Something that's I've been woefully unprepared for is making adult friendships. Aside from COVID ruining the game, it's been tough to click with people and I really don't know why.
Something that I learned in attempts to go out and make friends is that, ironically, I do not vibe with nerds. Like I've been going to these gaming events and stuff and yeah I have fun but I just can't connect with majority of them. I just find constant nerdiness to get really grating if it's their only personality with little else to offer.

if you remember the moment in TTG to the Movies where the Titans took away all the heroes to be the main focus and then brought them back once that failed…that’s pretty much the new Ultimate Universe

It's really a whole lot of trial and error tbh. I lucked out because I found the middle ground in college since they were also my cross country team. I really only truly vibed with one person since then and it was the girl I mentioned a while back so yeah I really shouldn't have pulled a Mordecai
