When I read about the latest Team Fortress 2 update, I thought "cool; they're adding official maps for that fanmade Vs. Saxton Hale mode". Somehow, I didn't realize that they made an official version of that mode, complete with new voice acting, so that's great to see. (and it gives me a reason to get back into the game)

WayForward is right now only confirming that Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution will be available on Game Boy Advance.

If they were willing to port the original Shantae game and soon another Game Boy Color game of theirs onto modern consoles, I don't see this being any different.

I still have a GBA. But you're right about the modern console release part. The original Shantae cartridge on GBC is rare AF and WayForward made sure in multiple ways we could legally play it. If they don't, it'll be the same mess all over again.

It also doesn't help that Shantae is from a smaller game company. Though, I can argue that WayForward has become a decent company name known to the world. Again, shantae has gone through humble beginnings since 1994.
