In The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sally is mostly portrayed with an uneven mouth and I cannot find a single other depiction of her that has this feature, and I think that is why she looks off so often

Huh, in the over 20s years since I first watched this movie, I never once noticed this. Neither that her mouth was frequently uneven and crooked nor that other depictions of her outside the movie never had it.

It's a cool subtle detail, but I don't think it stands out enough to make most other depictions of her look off, imo.

Admittedly, that part was added because I have seen this movie dozens of times over the course of my life, and as a kid wondered why Sally always looks slightly different.
