I went to Disneyland Orlando the first time in the US. I didn't like it (I prefer smaller amusement parks) but it was fun except for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride malfunctioning halfway and dealing with The Little Mermaid ride (sitting inbetween my brothers gave me a Cloud and Barret at Gold Saucer vibe).

Busch Gardens was a billion times better. Now that was fun and the whole manta ray park near Tampa.
I'd love to go back to Florida or the US if a few things change.
The Disneylands I've been to include Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

I don't have much memories on Disneyland Paris as I was so young back at the time, but I do remember watching the opening ceremony of the theme park when it was aired back on ITV (with Matthew Kelly and Pat Sharp hosting which were great times back then.)

If there were any fond rides that I enjoyed in the Disneyland theme park attractions:

Paris: Can't remember much but all I remember was going on "Its a small world."
Hong Kong: Mystic Manor and the Iron Man Experience.
Tokyo: There are actually two different themes that you can go to and I went with the "Sea World" theme and I enjoyed going on the "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea."

I'm running a mono-dragon team that either abuses Tailwind or Trick Room depending on my oponent's team composition. No one is going to see my Noivern and Dragapult in the team preview and expect Trick Room on my Dialga.

It's very stupid to go mono-Dragon in a Zacian dominated metagame and I haven't played competitive in years so I know I'll do awful. But my goals are to have fun and to get an Articuno so I don't care.
Meanwhile I just used Green's team from Let's Go and by extension the anime special. Had to replace Victreebel though because it's not in SwSh and went for Nidoqueen from Leaf's manga team.

Which mean, not a single legendary Pokemon, not even a pseudo one.

I was thinking of going with Blue's team, but the lack of Pidgeot made me reconsider. Sure, he's only used it in Gen 1 and 2, but it still feels pretty iconic to him. I guess him using Pidgeot in Masters plays a part in it, too. Also I don't care much for Alakazam.

But I haven't even played the other Ace Attorney games doh.
5 and 6 arent that good tbh.

They dont do a good job at being sequels to the trilogy due to character flanderization and the entire plot of 6 kinda breaking your suspension of disbelief in this games universe.

Also for those who care but BBC are reporting on the eShop ending:

And this is probably the first time I've ever seen Xenoblade and Fire Emblem referenced on a major news site: "However, the ending of eShop sales still leaves a vast library of games unaccounted for, such as Fire Emblem: Awakening and Xenoblade Chronicles X." I'll break down a few things of what they said:

"Instead, gamers will have access to a smaller selection of titles through Nintendo Switch Online.
And as this is a subscription service, players will lose access to their favourite games if they do not renew.
"

Again, games as a service for Nintendo is pretty stupid of an idea. All would make a lot to compensate is being able to pay individually for NSO online. I remember a few like yourself Lamperouge Lamperouge that you would happily pay for Banjo-Kazooie on its own. I would as well for games like Sin and Punishment.

"While gamers can still buy physical copies of old video games, the limited supply means that these can cost a lot when purchased through secondary markets. For example, one of the games that is disappearing from sale - Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones - currently costs just £6.29 on the Wii U eShop, but a physical copy of the game is a lot more, with one selling for £93 on eBay in January."

Which unless there is SIGNFICANT changes to distribution, manufacturing and restructuring to a personal level (which I expect to be about 25 years off) expect **** to get worse.
And scalpers will get horny to hear about this........selling second hand 3DS and Wii U's with GBA/Unavailable games in there.

"This has led some players to draw contrasts with Nintendo's tough stance on video game piracy."

Again, what is needed is a push of softening of the language to call piracy "shared archiving" but the crackdown honestly of all Japanese media as it seems to becoming is really gonna bite them back. Knowing our luck, it won't at all.

I see piracy as a necessity for competition and beating it to a pulp will not work unless you make it basically infringe on right to privacy and data protection..........then you get in trouble.

I'd also put in the classic piracy is a service problem...............but @Shroob your meme ****ing slaps.

Sadly the Japanese dino companies don't care about you and if it was up to them everyone who ever pirated would be arrested and never see a form of entertainment ever again.
And just to point this out as well. The thing is there is a potential void of the sector that a lot companies can fill with this that could create a lot of jobs, a lot of money, be able to keep away from scalpers and pirates and more. Just takes a lot of trust and risk.

A small company that can on an individual basis be able to create to the cartridges or CDs and stuff for games regardless of how niche it is. Hear me out.

1. Someone wants their son for his birthday a copy of Pokemon Platinum for the DS.
2. Via a website he gets an order to a small company that does these for cheaper. Said company has a license to be able to produce individual games and manufacture them all in the same small shop from Nintendo.
3. Since they have a severe and strict licencing agreement from the company they have the hard copies stored under lock and key but have the parts to produce this.

I'm trying to explain something here but I suck. I think there is a way to be able to produce for any console but requires a lot of merging of certain wheels in the cogs to do so and is years off.

Sure, they're not perfect, but I really enjoyed the new characters and I nearly cried in the final stretch of SoJ's final case.

Pokémon Day is February 27.

But since that day is on a Sunday this year and Pokémon doesn't make announcements on weekends, will we get a Pokémon Presents before or after that day?
I could see a Friday the 25th direct.
This, it will absolutely be the 25th. It’s actual perfect, because Pokémon has been celebrating the 25th for the anniversary. Example being Pokémon Masters, which celebrates the 25th of every month now with a whole bunch of events. So they are going in on marketing for the 25th, so it’s the perfect coincidence .

About the 3DS and Wii U eShop shutting down… there are still some games I want to get but there are not enough memory in my Wii U.

I have SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC UHS-I Card with Adapter but it seems to be not working for some reason. I bought it from GameStop a few months ago. Which SD card should I get? Any recommendations?

Hey M MooMew64 , a new major update as been released for Oneshot: Fading Memory. (aka lots of bug fixes, changed of existing levels & new levels from what I get)

If you're still interested in this mod, figured it was a good thing I warn ya.
Definitely on the list, just gotta get through Pokemon BDSP and PLA, then finish up FF7R, and then I'll be free to start up a new batch of games.

Man i hated the entire new cast from 6, they were all pretty annoying.

I also hate how they created an entire fictional country to the explicit purpose of bringing Maya back to the cast and did absolutely nothing with her character.

So I managed to watch the King's Man on Disney+ and here is my brief review:

Although the fine talent of Ralph Fienne's performance is the main highlight, it cannot prevent the inconsistent tone, the convulated long plot that really took some time to get the film going along with some of its cast from being wasted that made Matthew Vaughn's prequel installment of the King's Man a rather empty and disappointing outcome.

In addition, I had the opportunity to watch Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior:

With a surprisingly low budget of $5 million which was for after all, a film made for the Disney Channel back in 2006 and although Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior had its moments to bring more spotlight in to Asian representation with Brenda Song, there were still a number of areas that were particularly lacking especially within its paper-thin written storytelling that lacked any sort of build and construction as well as its reliance on stereotypes and tropes which possibly don't age very well to this day.

I actually really liked those two. Apollo’s story never makes any sense, but Athena’s backstory and Blackquil were really great parts of it. I appreciate them getting creative.

Plus Phoenix Defends a whale in dual destines and it’s actually an amazing case. The school trial case was also really good.

Spirit of Justice had a pretty unique aspect that twists the spirit channeling mechanic, which makes it worth the play. The final case is also pretty good, and the ending isn’t that unrealistic.

Yes you:

yeah you kinda dethrone a government but it’s also not Unrealistic. You prove a crime and get someone arrested, paving the way for a better future. It’s like rise from the ashes but on a foreign scale. Yeah the revolution part is a bit much, but it’s not terrible.

There was a problem fetching the tweet

Firstly I know this is still a rumour and I will be taking this with a grain of salt. At the same time, I can't exactly say much about the source's credibility. But if this is indeed true from the list:
  • Professor X (Patrick Stewart) - Obviously his voice was heard during the trailer.
  • Captain Carter (Halley Hatwell) - I think the source is meant to say Hayley Atwell. Her shield was shown as an easter egg within the poster.
  • Captain Marvel (Lashana Lynch) - Apparently, it is believed that she was shown briefly fighting against Wanda Maximoff in the trailer.
  • Mr. Fantastic (John Krasinski)
  • Black Bolt (Anson Mount)
  • Clea (Charlize Theron)
  • Balder the Brave
  • Magneto

I'm willing to defend Ace Attorney 5 as I think it's arguably the best game in the series mechanics wise which makes up for the weaker story elements.
Even then, I enjoyed the story and characters of Dual Destinies.
The same cannot be said for Spirit of Justice.
The new mechanics prevent me from enjoying the story and the story is even worse than AA5.

I like the ideas Dual destinies had, i just dont like the execution, specifically that they went out of their way to ignore the fourth game existed.

3DS game recommendations BTW:

- Noipoi Noipoi If you ever had interest, both Mystery Dungeons on 3DS are great, don't believe the hate about Gates, it has a fantastic story with excellent characters.

- Both OoT and Majora 3D are the best ways to play these games until the PC decomp communities get PC ports going, which will probably take a while. These ports will do amazing in the meantime. However, the N64 versions are still super valid as long as you don't mind losing out on some QoL and having worse graphics, so up to you.

- Samus Returns I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE GONNA LET IT DIE AND BECOME OBSCURE AGAIN, THE WHOLE POINT OF THE REMAKE WAS TO GIVE PEOPLE AN UPDATED WAY OF PLAYING AN OVERLOOKED METROID AND NOW WE'RE JUST GONNA BE RIGHT BACK WHERE WE WERE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

- Mario & Luigi Dream Team is, IMO, the best one in the series, don't let Mario RPG fans fool you. Has the best soundtrack, too.

- Both Kirby: Planet Robobot and Triple Deluxe are fantastic Kirby games, easy recommends for anyone who's a fan of the series but missed out on them for whatever reason.

- Tomodatchi Life because Miis are based.

- NSMB 2 is actually a stellar 2D Mario, despite being a NSMB game. The coin gimmick is actually really fun,

- Super Mario 3D Land is AWESOME, despite being overshadowed by SM3DW nowadays. Highly recommend.

- WarioWare Gold is currently the best traditional WarioWare and showcases the best of the series through the remade Micro Games.

- Luigi's Mansion 3D is shockingly solid for a GCN to 3DS port.

- Mario Golf World Tour is super fun and offers an experience closer to Toadstool Tour for those who missed that in Star Rush.

I'll post more if I can think of 'em, but that's it for now.

This is really what they baited people into waiting for?

In other words MTTS just copy and pasted everyone else leaks that were put out there first. But I guess she had to shill NFTS somehow.

I'd also add the virtual console games, as a lot of them aren't available on Switch (A big one are the Pokemon games, as they also have compatibility with Bank)

The biggest problem with the last two Ace Attorneys is Apollo has 3 backstories they all contradict each other. They remove that and clear his story up and the rest of the games would be pretty streamlined.

Also I get why people hate the spy storyline, but it’s no different from de killer imo.

Man, I loved my 3DS.

But I ruined it.

I would leave it on all night, charging while I SoS chained for shinies in gen 7.

It only lasts about five minutes before shutting off now.

But the shinies were worth it :4pacman:
If you're comfortable with taking it apart a bit, iFixit sells parts and has repair videos on how to change batteries.

AFAIK it's usually one of the easiest things to repair.

If anyone wants some positive Nintendo news to brighten the mood a bit:

There was a problem fetching the tweet

Nintendo is actually trying to optimize Switch titles now, this is really good news and is probably how they're planning to get a couple extra years outta the thing before they finally commit to Switch 2.

Why not use Nvidia's DLSS if the system uses Nvidia's hardware?
