Well, that goes both ways really.

Japanese companies don't have much incentive to bring their manga to the west because of how common piracy is among even titles they pay to be localized.

Origin: Aztec mythology. Tzitzimitl is a type of monstrous goddess associated with stars. They were depicted as skeletal female figures wearing skirts often with skull and crossbones designs. The stars that can be seen during solar eclipses are tzitzimimeh attacking the sun in order to descent to earth and possess men. Unless a human was sacrificed at the end of a 52-year calendar round, the fifth sun would end and they would descend to devour the last of humanity.

Just like Guedhe, Tzitzimitl seems to be a specific member of her race, particularly Ītzpāpālōtl, the queen of tzitzimimeh and the obsidian butterfly who ruled over the paradise of deceased infants. Tzitzimitl admittedly focuses on the stellar aspect of her lore rather than the warrior goddess one, but she is no less terrifying for that. Her red dress symbolizes the sacrifices that are required to stop her assault on the sun and the vaguely skeletal arms that made up her hair clearly have taken hold of celestial spheres. She’s beautiful and seductive just like in some of her legends but her grin can also be seen as bloodthirsty. Also, space pattern makes every design better, enough said.

Racism in the game community is no joke. This **** is super ****ing racist, and people are sick of it. On top of racism, there's sexism as well. So here's someone who created a safe space to combat that.

Meet Jay-Ann Lopez, founder of Black Girl Gamers. This is a group comprised of black girl gamers (shocker, I know). At first, it was going ti be for herself, but then she decided to open it up for any black lady across the world who loves games.

She also founded other groups, such as Curlture, which is dedicated for black women hair and the love of it. She's also a huge advocate for diversity in the gaming industy.

"I want to see more diverse workforces in gaming. I think diversity, inclusion, and equity is very popular right now, but there’s a lot of people doing a lot of talking without a lot of action. I want to see different people in leadership positions where they can have equity and influence and impact.

I also want to see representation in games that is authentic and has someone Black behind it. I think it’s all great for people to represent Black people as long as it’s done well. But why are we still having these very monolithic teams developing games and creating characters? Why don’t you have someone Black on your team? What are your internal resource groups like? Do you have a Black ERG? Do you have a pride ERG? More game creators need to ask and answer those questions. "
