But yeah, Pokemon had a lot of outdated mechanics that I'm so glad they removed.

Ironically, the 3D gens removed the vast majority of them (annoying roamers, trade evolutions, moss/ice rock, streamlining of the friendship mechanic, annoying random encounters (except BDSP for whatever reason), much better Fast Travel system, HMs in general being gone, etc).

Like, people generally forget that a lot has changed in the Pokemon series that makes the newer games much more enjoyable.

Tbh, I can't imagine Pokemon in general without EXP share nowadays. I got too used to it and it hasn't caused me trouble. I can't go back to individually grinding.

Splatoon 3's got a shot too, but given how I'm expecting that to feel more like an expansion pack than anything too crazy, and how important Kirby is to me with my history in gaming, I'm so excited for Forgotten Land.

God I love Lumine's idle pose so much!

I can just imagine her and (and the other sibling) having this power to create it as its actually a map for them to travel between worlds. Guiding through the stars and being given the ability by someone from their homeworld.

That idle pose alone gave me a story idea. Just that! A character I'm using for crossovers is revealed to have children.

For those looking for it, it is very possible to find love. I seen some socially awkward mfs find someone because they took a risk, so nothing is out of reach for y'all, no matter how "forever alone" y'all think you are. Of course, some of y'all might wanna work on your game a bit, maybe go outside for a day, get a haircut, a select few if y'all should probably take a shower, etc. Just don't count yourself out. You'll never know if you never tried. Or you can not do anything, but you can only blame yourself, and that's one of the worst feelings ever. And I don't want y'all wallowing in self pity and doubt.
